Good evening! I’m Cliodna, known in-game as Lee Tinkerer. I come from Estonia and I got the link to Echo Bazaar through a friend when I was looking for inspiration for a steampunk roleplay. 's nice to meet you. raises top hat and bows
Hope to see you all more around the forums, the community can only benefit from being bigger :)
Why, good evening, tasty niblets! I’m Kris Whyte, and I arrived here by way of a most unusual circus. I tripped over a tent stake and fell into an unnoticed hole in the ground and landed, well, here. Curious, that. I’m fairly new in town, but rapidly rising through the ranks. I can be a most Persuasive soul, I am told. Dear me, where DID I put that soul?
Well, hello, delicious friends! I am John Purple, how delightful to meet you. I walk the streets of Fallen London for 5 or 6 months now, it’s hard to remember exactly, for so many things has happened since.
When I first founded myself planing a daring escape from the New Newgate Prison, I started to have strange dreams about being another person - Gaël Violet is the name -, in other time, in other place - that is, not-fallen Rennes, Brittany, France (that at least would explain my accent and the many flaws in my English…); and about Fallen London - and subsequently, my real life - being no more than a fiction in a game. Scary. Now, where did I put this bottle of F.F.Gebrandt’s Laudanum?

Hello! I’m Ellise, i’ve been play EB on and off for a long time, trying now to play on a daily basis. I will finish the story at some point…
Hello! I’m known as Patrice in-game, and artsieaspie everywhere else. I’ve been playing on and off for ages, and am delighted to have found the forum!
Ah yes, my little playthings. It is I. Al. Himself. No no please refrain from bowing. I shall exact my tribute as and when it is appropriate. In the meantime I just wish to observe you. And of course to wish you an evening of delight and pain and life. There is much that will delight you, my darling little puppies, but danger abounds. Be wary. And do not rely on me for protection. Oh no. That would be foolish. Extremely foolish.
Well, hello there…
Ah, quite a gathering, I see. I am Caoimhe Laird. No, no, I do not expect you to recognize that name, it does not yet carry the same weight in the Neath that it did on the surface.
I am sure we shall get along splendidly. Provided you can understand me through my accent, of course. But fear not, I am quite adept at…conversing without words, if all else fails.
Good evening, all! Delighted to make your collected acquaintance - Persephone Cadwell, lately of New York. I’m relatively new to the Neath, having only been playing for a few months. However, I find I am forging ahead quite regularly thus far; I am certainly enjoying myself a great deal, and I intend to stay in Fallen London forever! (Or at least until the latest scandal sees me shipped off to the Tomb-Colonies…)
Good evening, my fellow residents of the Neath. I have been absent for a long time… asleep if you will… but I am finding my feet in the new look London Below. James is my surface name, and I am thoroughly enjoying getting back into Echo Bazaar.
A pleasant evening to you, darlings. In the Neath I am known as Kiely Danielle, and I hope that we shall all be the most delicious of new friends. I’ve been in the Neath for over a year, but have spent at least of quarter of that time intermittently slogging away between levels 80 through 100 on all my main stats - with any amount of luck I’ll finally buckle down and push through to the Person of Some Importance arcs, and the adventures it will bring.
Now, would any of you happen to know anything of the Correspondence? I’m quite the ecstatic authority, you see, and my hunger for the Correspondence knows no end.
Speaking of hunger…
You can become my associate by following @ladylikeikneel - do send me invitations, will you? My supply of second chances is dwindling at an alarming rate.

Greetings and felicitations. I’m relatively here in Fallen London, only in my third day of exploring after chancing upon a reference to the game in that other bizarre world, the Twitterverse. I am at once both fascinated and confused, and immensely enjoying the game. I look forward to making your acquaintances during these strange days.
Greetings and felicitations, delicious acquaintances. I am Elanor de Momerie, lately a regular attendant of Her Majesty’s Court. I divert myself with the composition of artistic works and avoiding scandal.
Avoiding scandal? How quaint!
Well, one wonders what the benefits would be as it appears no one else has done such an experiment. Thus I humbly sacrifice myself to the altar of science.
Hello. I shall drop all pretense- I am a newbie. A beginner, greenhorn, a what-have-you. I happened to stumble across this game from a wayward message that was hardly my business- and now I am, quite frankly to say, stuck here.
But there is no time to sit around moping. I am still very much a surface-dweller, and if that doesn’t change, I might not survive for much longer. Besides, who could say no to the alluring setting of Deep London? The atmosphere, the quality of the moment- I admire these things, and this is the fate the cards have dealt me. I will not be the same person after all of this is said and done.
But that doesn’t matter. What, however, that does, is that there is a prospect of adventure- secrets and mysteries that lie in the deep, hidden from all, cursed in the tongue and shielded in the heart of deceit, meanderings of magic, wisps of (dubious) wisdom.
Thus, I will enjoy this, regardless of whether the I of now does so at the very moment.
… But for that purpose, it is imperative that I must have acquaintances, is it not? So tell me, drop me a private message, or otherwise. It is always welcomed. For now, an obligatory introduction.
I am a solicitous youngster with an interest for cards, particularly the heart of cards, mythical creatures that can be stored in collapsible sphere-spaces, and currently attempting to foster an interest for mystery- thus, I am lacking in skill when it comes to solving the equation itself, but I would admit to loving games such as Mafia or reading discussions about said mysteries. I lack the acquired language that most of you have obtained in the depths of Deep London, and I would shamefully admit that I am the person who reads the speculations about cities, before the guidelines, and only after that, attends to the matter of introduction. For that, I am deeply apologetic. But delicious friends are welcome. Yes, they are always welcome.
So hello, and have a good day, good sirs and gentlewomen.

Hello, Fang here… not much to say about me. Just that I have this hunger that I feel the need to grow.
Well, hello … my Name ist Bartholomaeus Felicitas Bumpkin, better known as Sir Bert. Greetings to all the brave prisoners down here. I can’t stand waiting for the next knife & candle season, 'cause there are still some shady characters out there whom I have to show who’s running the show.
