Greetings, fellow Fallen Londoners. I’m Silas. I’m interested in revenge, vengeance, and, if there’s time, retribution. When unable to pursue that ultimate goal, I pass the time writing romance novels and publishing Fallen London’s most reliable source of preposterous lies.
Good evening, all; you can call me Jack here, I suppose. Which is a little strange for me, but there you have it.
In the Neath, I play four characters (one for each ambition), the foremost of which is Jack Vaux-Harrowden (hence the name).
Away from the internet, I’m a relatively boring young man with a passion for debate, the English language, and all manner of nerdy thing. I have a deep and abiding love for stories, an addiction that Echo Bazaar has fed nicely, and which has (shameless plug) led me to post a story-telling contest in the Fabularities section, which I’ll get around to actually finishing sometime when it’s not half-three in the morning.
Good evening, I am the0mad0hatter and I spend most my time in disgraced exile in the Tomb-Colonies.
Hi, I’m Ellie, and I’m having a blast playing Echo Bazaar. I’m particularly fond of the romance storylines, though I got scandaled out of the Empress’s Court and haven’t had the chance to resume Fascinating anyone there.
O delicious friends, I am Katyroo, enjoying Echo Bazaar and the opportunity for a bit of skullduggery and -shall we say- extralegal activities.
I am most glad to make the acquaintance of those who might enjoy receiving an occasional wriggling box or assisting in difficult challenges.
Onward!
Greetings fellow Fallen Londoners! I am Nixie, also known as Neonix, a casual player of Echo Bazaar, and a frequent contributor to a certain Fallen London Wiki.
Hmm? Me? I’m known as Snickerer, for reasons that I’m told become obvious in short order. I’d be the hooded, becloaked figure watching from the Flit - what? Oh, the one that’s cackling, I suppose - hmm? Er - the one with the Bejeweled Cane and the unreasonable fondness for judicious application of coal scuttles at terminal velocity? …what do you mean that’s still not narrowing it down much?
Hopelessly fond of cats, the Flit, the Correspondence, and all the brightness that glitters down amid the Neath-dark. Been experimenting with brandy and medicated bandages and tend to occasionally leave some of the better results on the doorsteps of people who might find them useful. Also in possession of a Bat with a regrettable tendency to mug other messenger bats - the one with the Black Ribbon tied in a bow around his neck as a warning? I, er, may have read some of your mail. And, ah, possibly your Journals. (Um, look, you probably shouldn’t leave them by your upper-storey windows if you’re expecting them to stay private anyway-)
I am ever and always myself; though I do respond as I am addressed.
Also easily distractable and told I lapse into passing fair Cryptic at times. (Do tell me if I accidentally do that at you, will you?) But perfectly friendly, under most circumstances.
~x~
@Snickerer
I’m Sabulana, occasionally known as Sabbunny but usually as Sabby. I saw a vague reference to Echo Bazaar somwhere on the web and googled it by chance. It instantly drew me in and now I’m hooked.
In Echo Bazaar, I’m Niobe, a gentleman (yes, I know, but I got confused when I was first setting up in Fallen London, about a year and a half ago). I’ve been an exceptional friend off and on, trying to drink every bit of each storyline, and am aghast to see that there is ANOTHER beast in Theological Husbandry. I have four, and now there’s another? And I usually use an owl as an avatar – most disturbing!
In everyday life, I live in Atlanta, Georgia, and have stacks and shelves and piles of books, and a cat. I work and volunteer in theatres (front of house), and make catnip mousies at the local Renaissance Faire. The Duchess really oughtn’t be so sniffy, you know.

Hi, all, brownstocking here. Found EB months ago, lost it, and found it again, today. Looking forward to not being homeless!
Good evening, I’m Wrongspotted, a lady eager to sample all Fallen London has to offer, and perhaps overindulge in a few choice vices…Always happy to meet new people, and will often offer assistance, assuming time and temperament allow.
On the Surface, I’m an office worker, lover of books, cats, and all things unusual. Looking forward to many adventures in the 'Neath!
Hello all, I’ve been playing Echo Bazaar since about Mid-August 2011. I was introduced to the game by reading a thread dedicated to it over on Giant in the Playground forums(also, incidentally, where I found out about these forums, as Chris himself posts there occasionally and he mentioned that these forums were up and running), and after reading about 40 or 50 posts, I decided I had to try the game out, and I’ve been hopelessly in love with it since. Enjoying every moment I spend here and anticipating every moment not!
Hello all, Mortimer Blunt here, a resident of Fallen London since June of 1889, and still constantly amused, moved, and appalled by life in the Neath. I’m interested in the pursuit of dreams, the nature of religion in the Neath, the hopes of the Revolutionaries, and the restoration of my academic career. I’m no closer to knowing my own heart’s desire, though.
Good afternoon ladies, gents, and delicious friends! I’m Freewheeler, and I’ve been enjoying exploring Fallen London for quite some time, but only just discovered the forums. [I know, how slow :P].
I look forward to getting to know everyone here.
Ah, so this is where the elite of Neath are amusing themselves. Ladies, Gentleman and most wondrous of individuals! I welcome you all and hope, that this evening provides you with enough amusement to satisfy your needs. If it were to happen, sad that it may be, that you’ll find tonight’s entertainment lacking, I know of a certain locale of revelry that might be to your liking.
But first, please allow me to introduce myself, I am a person of considerable opulence and, if I may say so myself, of a predilection for the exquisite. I specialize in procuring the rarest of rare objects and solving the most impossible of conundrums…for a small fee, of course. If you ever find yourself in need of a helping hand, please do consider my humble offer.
Ah an introduction thread. I’m sure someone is even now scouring this in an attempt to precisely target the spambots. :)
You may refer to me as Whiteadder, and I’ve been playing this game for about a year now. I was drawn in by the surprisingly deep story, and stayed for because my obsessive need to know everything won’t let me leave.
When not playing this game I like to read, play video games, watch movies. Really anything with a good plot tends to suck me in.
Looking forward to the fan-fiction this is sure to spawn, debating weather I should offer any deserved criticism, (A big fan of MST3K, The Protectors of the Plot Continuum, and TGWTG.com.) Guess I’ll see what the tone of this forum is like first.
Hey, everyone. I’ve actually stopped playing EB for roughly about… Well, a long time. Haha.
Recently started playing again and I got sucked back into the deep storylets… Keep on doing what you’re doing, FBG. :)
Fanfiction for EB? (/goes on to Mr. Pages’ Fabularities and reads)
Hello, I’m Georgiana Haversack-Ellesby in game. I stopped playing EB for awhile and WOW I love the new content including making new things. So many more stories to explore! Other than that, I’m working on upping stats to become A Person Of Some Importance. I live in Chicago and am an ABE Math tutor.
Charmingly humble greetings, my fellow delicious ones. I go by Sterling Lyon in-game. I first stumbled into Fallen London in 2010, played for a few weeks, and then just sort of wandered off. Mere weeks ago I found myself fallen right back into the Bazaar, and for what seems like the long haul.
It is a lovely evening, isn’t it? Miss Elizabeth Harker, at your service. Call me Lizzie at your peril. I’ve been around for a while, though not as long as some, and am always open to making new acquaintances.
