Good morning (for can it always be evening, even in the dusky Neath?)
,
My name is Meradine Heidenreich (four syllables in Meradiine, if I may be so bold as to clarify), late of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Being newly arrived and finally accommodated (albeit in rooms not wholly suited to my tastes and aspirations), I would be happy to meet others for mutual entertainment. (My temper is sometimes on a knife-edge, but I trust future friends will display patience.)
I hope to meet you all soon!
Good evening ladies, gents, and those unknown! Leon McCarran at your service. After going it alone in our grand old city for some time, I’ve decided to try and be a little more social and make a few friends. I am a writer, scholar, and lover of mysteries who is always up for a rousing discussion. I also do enjoy some occasionally interesting (or profitable) mischief. I look forward to our greater mysteries. Cheers!
Pleased to meet you all, my name is Oliver Hastings. I’m new to the city, but eager to make new friends and acquaintances. I’ve been writing and drawing recently around Veilgarden, but I am also up for exploring if there is a tantalizing enough reward to be chased.
His Dudeness here, with a beverage, so take it easy, will ya!
I ain’t already that much sure what I’m doing in this weirdish place, but I’m trying. To understand that is.
For starters, let me say that I’ve enjoyed quite a few amazing vintages mushroom goodness, and some bloody darn good sizzling honey.
Fallen London, you should be proud. But I’m sure you are!
The Dude abides, ya know, but still Fallen London is, so far, some sweet abiding! Of course, there’s not enough bowling lanes around, but authentic historical reproduction must have it’s toll!
These days I’m doing some work as a journalist for those crazy rich people. It’s mostly for the pay and the red honey, but it’s an easy and honest work. I can be at home, tripped out on acid flashback and make whatever wild story that will moist these ol’ wealthy corpses. It’s kinda gross, but it have those compelling moments… sometimes… ya know?

Hi! I’m Strix van Allen and I was a Chemistry professor on Surface, before That Thing. My academic career is on hold until I can convince those FOOLS to fund my Department of Correspondence. They think I’m mad. I EAT MADNESS ON BREAKFAST. Ahem. Sorry. High nightmares. I came to Fallen London to understand the matters of life and death down here and I’m making a living freelancing as a detective. I once went to the Flit to understand the criminal mind better and ended as a Master Thief by accident. I’m still not sure how that happened. All in all, I hunt monsters on demand and my instance on romance is "no, thanks".
I hope to be good friends with everyone and ro be helpful to whomever I can help. Unless you are a spirifier. Then you can go to Hell.

Hi! I just started playing today. This is such a fun game, and I have been reading about it on the wiki beforehand.
Good Evening gentle beings,
I am no stranger to the neath but have not before now really engaged with the forums and I though it high time to introduce myself. I am an academic, an author, an adventuress and all around pursuer of knowledge in all its forms. Losing my first spouse brought me to the Neath but it is now my home and has even furnished me with a new beloved.
I look forward to making your acquaintance, here or in the Neath and will endeavour to help new players in any way I can.
–Prof C. Earstwell
Good evening, toothsome Neathlings:
I appear to have wandered into the sociable salons of the city, so I shall make my introductions. My aspiration is to become and remain a well-rounded individual, whilst exploring all the textual goodness on offer in this dark place. Actual provender seems sadly lacking, hence my state of constant peckishness; chess with the Boatman has provided a welcome distraction however.

Good Evening, Zabriel Rivers at your service. Currently seeking a living in the Veilgardens. A persausive and watchful individual of strange nature.
Good day, my dears. My name is Hark DeGaul, rat-catcher, friend of cats and servant of Her Majesty’s Royal Navy. I have been in London for some time, but have only recently crawled out of my rooms for long enough to make introductions. My associate here is Hebediah Fix, a veteran of Crimea, unlicensed vicar and devious criminal all at once. If we have anything you need or if you just feel friendly feel free to contact either of us. We will offer any aid we can… within reason.
To all and sundry, greetings. To everyone else, pay no heed; move along. Briskly.
Good evening to all. My name is Sabrina, Watcher, thief eminent, and Game afficionado. I’ve been in the Neath for several months now but have never gotten involved in the Forums. I look forward to making your acquaintances!
Cheers,
Sabe
Evening, my friends.
You may call me Quiller, as they call me by in the game. I am quite excited to meet you fine people this day.
Can you really say “good evening” if it’s always dark down here? I’m Theodore Gibbs, expert… well, an expert. I just started getting involved here for profit, but it’s refreshing to see such a warm, vibrant community. Especially somewhere as rough as the Neath.
I don’t really believe in the Internet, but it’s the only thing that let’s me play a struggling artist waiting for stories to evolve( the only thing that can bring me joy ,yearning to escape my struggling artist’s life). Until recently I discovered game maker studio, that I have been waiting for since I was a child (When making video games was still a mystical thing: Something that couldn’t be just done, or learned by normal people. The ninties were a much simpler time. But now i am writing algorithm based procedural tile generators for fun. Isn’t it marvelous? And I haven’t said "good evening". How rude. https://sites.google.com/site/dasaggropop/
Best of evenings, fellow denizens of the depths!
I am John Moose, a humble collector of beasts and slayer of zee-monsters. My hobbies are scouring the zee on my trusted zubmarine in search of new additions to my personal zoo, as well as chasing mysteries no sane mind should contemplate. I have lived in this wonderland of horror and insanity for a couple years now, but only now have I begun paying attention to the most vibrant and charming society of like-minded individuals that is this forum.
Thank you for having me, delicious future friends!
Succulently yours,
John Moose,
Monster Hunter
(The surface-dweller who takes care of my correspondence is a student of medicine with a time-consuming obsession with the Neath, should any be interested in the affairs of that sun-bathed whippersnapper.)
I bid you all good morning.
Mallorie Z. Erredy, it’s a pleasure to meet you all. I am just starting out in these unforgiving streets, but am a lady of high tolerance and not afraid to do what it takes to get the job done.
See you out there and beware of what is lurking in the shadows.
Greetings!
I’m Thanroshi and I arrived at Fallen London a while ago and i’ve been loving every day there.
On the surface I played the saxophone and piano.
Hello there~
I’m Spacecatte, I started with buying Sunless Sea sometime near the winter holidays and adored it, so I decided to check and see what its browser counterpart was like. I’m a mid-tier player now and have been deeply enjoying it, and absolutely looking for more!
Good evening, fellow citizens of a fallen city. They call me the Vixen. I’m a bit of a puzzle at times (even to myself), but I enjoy riddles and games of wit. I look forward to digging deeper into the intriguing depths of this city. So much to see. So little time.
Oh, and those rumors you’ve heard involving me, a poisoned bottle of wine, and a decapitation? Pure fantasy. I assure you.
