Hi, I’m Adolferch and I’m from Spain. I have registered in the game yesterday and I would like to enter in the community learning about the game as much as possible.
Good evening my dear friends! I am the Artful Gentleman and have just arrived in this intriguing city. I must say that so far I am quite taken with this place and plan on spending as much time as I can here. I am a poet by trade, but I have other skills that might be useful to some. Feel free to ask me anything you wish!
Your humble servant,
The Artful Gentleman
Good afternoon everyone,
Having fallen in love with Welcome to Nightvale, the free podcast of a small, friendly desert town radio station (do not look at the Hooded Figures or approach the dog park. DO NOT APPROACH THE DOG PARK), I was encouraged to look at Fallen London and I’m so very glad I have. I have been playing for three days now and I don’t believe I have ever enjoyed a text based game a tenth as much. I have no idea what’s going on, I am stumbling around blindly and I am having so much fun! Between the eldritch abominations reminiscent of H.P. Lovecraft works and writing that reminds me of my favourite Consulting Detective, this place is wonderful.
Generally I stay out of game forums and can be somewhat terrible at social interactions however after receiving a Maverick Bloodhound and being unsure if it was going to try to kill me or not I posted on the Young Turks thread and immediately got a flood of information, advice and reassurance. Lovely people have already sent me gifts and I helped someone with their nightmares. Unlike in so many games, the social angle does not feel forced to me.
I am very pleased to be here and to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you all,
Sincerely,
Lethe
A fellow devote of Welcome To Nightvale! Well met gentle lady!
Goodness. I ended up creating an entirely new thread to introduce myself when it turns out that there is a perfectly good thread for it right here. I do apologize for the . . . clutter.
Greetings, Fellow Fallen, and good evening to you. I call myself "FerroMancer", and as we’ve just met, I’ll restrain myself from boring you with its origins today. I’ve been in Fallen London for roughly two years now. I’m at 200 in Watchful and Shadowy (I specialized as an "Extraordinary Mind" - call it Ego, if you will), and have 191 in both Dangerous and Persuasive. I’m tipping 200 in my Connections with three or four groups right now. I’m working on my second Overgoat, and I’m working on a 5-card suite. For my employ, I am a Correspondent.
Thank you for the feedback that I have gotten already, pointing me towards this specific thread and the links to further myself. I look forward to our continued interactions.
Welcome, this humble citizen of the Neath calls himself Arekonere.
My adventure in Fallen London started somewhere in August, after hearing about it in an episode of Extra Credits in the delicious land of Youtube. I have decided to join this fine community to satisfy my thirst for knowdledge, and my enquiries will soon be seen around here.
Welcome, to Fallen London
Evening! I’ve been messing about in the Neath for about a year now? Probably.I figured it was time to actually say hello! I’m a botanist and writer on the side, and despite what my rivals would tell you I’m not afraid of mushrooms in the slightest. I go by either Zytican or Galena, and you can usually find me in my suite at the royal beth, where I reside for non mushroom related reasons.

Good evening fine citizens!
I am simply known as Rahov…yes yes i know its a mononym i’m sorry for that but i felt it was easier to use that, throw off the chains of the past and all that.I made my way to London a little over a year ago from D-bl-n,I-e–nd that is.
I’d go more in-depth about things but sadly that god forsaken irrigo has left its mark at this point, the joys of Midnighter…hood. So before i prattle on about nothing i’ll simply say its a pleasure to meet everyone and if anybody needs an extra pair of hands or eyes or knife simply drop me a note.
Good night.
Good evening all, Fancypants is the name. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
In this town nothing is quite as it seems and the right information here and there can make a world of difference. I’m here to offer the right information, in exchange for perhaps some information of your own. If you’re interested in working together then feel free to stop by my office, just ask for Captain Fancypants.
Two heads are better than one…

Hello, hello! Please call me DT - it’s my online moniker, and it feels odd to go about with another name these days.
I first played Fallen London a few years ago, before much of the polishing of the game happened, and when I returned in early December I decided to start over fresh with a brand new character, my selfish little Parisian-born thief Aliénor. I do a lot of rambling about her character development (and assorted other writing projects) on my tumblr. I finally got around to signing up here on the forum today, so I’ll be poking around quite a bit.
Greetings and salutation, my friends! My name is Spencer on the surface but feel free to just yell and point if you can’t remember it! :D
As a writer and poet, Fallen London is a goldmine of learning how to properly set up and establish lore, tone and characters!
My current project, Kingdom of the Worms, draws a lot of inspiration from Fallen London’s approach and I’m keenly interested to hear everyone’s educated opinions on FL’s lore.
Hi everyone, I’ve been surveilling you all for a while now, since you never close your shades. I’m a couple of months in to playing and thoroughly hooked. Came here for intel and because social.
Good evening everyone, I have come across this wonderful discovery via sunless sea, and I am quite delighted to find something with a rich world of lore and content that is waiting to be discovered, and with that being said, I bid you all good day.
Good afternoon all! I have finally joined now that I have spare time. Do not be alarmed at my flirty in-character behavior! I am pretty sane beneath the mask.

I’m Dawn, I arrived in Fallen London no more than a fortnight ago and am still finding my way around the City. I am finding it interesting, although still trying to work out how I got here and what I am doing.[li]
Hello! After loving Sunless Sea I finally decided to try Fallen London, it’s the most delicious way to waste time during office hours.
Hello!
I have just joined a few days ago thanks to some amazing/sneaky advertising on the Allusionist Podcast, and am already thoroughly addicted.
Back on The Surface, I’m (clearly) a lover of words and reading/writing, but also CATS, so I’ll be trying to get on the Duchess’ good side down in the Neath…

Good evening. Mr. Bright and I have been around since Fallen London was still known as Echo Bazaar, but it wasn’t until recently that we decided to pay a visit to the Community Forum.
Good evening. Miss Arrietty Clock, at your service. curtseys demurely
