Anyway, this is the first time I’m immersing into the Neath properly, not only I started to access this forum (Which I didn’t even know that existed) but for the first time I’m buying the paid content (One of the best things of being a functional adult is to be able to use your credit card for these games)

[As for the one playing, I’m Aegis, and I kind of fell in love with Fallen London by accident x) I saw a free coffee thingy on Tumblr, and I asked myself: Why the heck not? Clicked it. Signed up and everything. Got a free coffee that I didn’t even know what was for. Started playing it "for the lulz", and made my FL character the same one as one of my elven characters from an RPG. Then I actually got to really like this game so… I am stuck in trying to find a way to make sense as why d***ed elves exist in the Neath, since I got attached to playing Sharenius as he was in the RPG he was born in lmao. Oh boy, I did drag myself into a mess. A very fun mess though

Why, Hello, you lovely people. I’m known in most parts of the internet as Ice, And it’s wonderful to meet all of you! I recently became somewhat obsessed with this game. Or should I say, re-obsessed? I had an account before, but in what I can only assume was a temporary bout of insanity, I deleted it. But it’s no matter. I’m looking to become a little active in the community and I can only hope I make a good impression.

I was a bit uncertain first (it is a kind of princinple with me), but finally I have decided to stay in Fallen London. So many puzzling observations, unreported phenomenology and theories yet to elaborate! However I start missing my former correspondence with my colleagues from above, so I would be more than glad to share my preliminary conclusions with other brilliant minds from here.
During my spare time I do not desdain physical engagement, as I used to practice french savate - though at an amateur level. And regarding political engagement… well I would not dare judge a society I do not really belong to, right?

Good evening, delicious friends. I’m Brett. I grew up and reside in Michigan, United States. Avid player of roguelikes, including Shin Megami Tensei, Binding of Isaac, Rogue Legacy, UnEpic, Dungeons of Dredmor and, most recently, Sunless Sea! Playing games since a young age has driven a sometimes unfortunate instinct to optimize situations. Fallen London’s emphasis on the journey is something I’ve long needed.
Political campaign professional IRL; a loquacious, pugnacious, melancholy but humorous tactician. Soft spot in my heart for Shadowy types in life and fiction, but I’m probably more of a low-born Persuasive/Watchful. A lover of film - Martin Scorsese, Wes Anderson, pretty much anything in which John Cusack plays a current or former assassin.
I play Gerald Edgerton, a Shadowy but enterprising young rake who never knew his parents. He wasn’t formally affiliated with the Urchins before he left prison already a man, but despite being a quietly vicious and bitter individual he has a soft spot for the safeguarding of children. Associates diversely with the underworld, but NOT with the Cheery Man. Prefers to design, rather than execute, his crimes when he can, but moving up in the world has required he become more Dangerous. Terrified of prison, wary of others knowing of his humble past. He’s held onto his own soul, but doesn’t impose this preference upon others and is friendly with Hell.
I’m interested in discussing this and other worlds, and happy to accept friend requests or invitations to group affairs.

I confess, I should not be exploring London, nor roaming anywhere. I have writing to do, of the short fiction variety, but discovered Fallen London by accident when perusing the short lists for the Kitschies. Since the Kitschies have provided me with many wonderful reads, I gave in to the temptation to taste Fallen London. Now I find myself with six eyeless skulls, about to embark on a dangerous expedition.

Good evening, delicious friends. My name is Mark, but I go by asnys online. I am a graduate student in mathematics in real life. My interests, in no particular order, are math, Cthulhu, atomic energy, history, and writing; my favorite authors are H. P. Lovecraft, Fred S. Polak, and Caitlin Kiernan.
My character is Zinaida Gorenko, an insightful and captivating lady, exiled from her homeland of Russia, and currently working as a journalist while she finishes her first short story. Although presently affiliated with the Bazaarines, Zinaida is likely to soon find herself in the Celestial camp, as she finds herself drawing closer to the Church, albeit via an unorthodox and rather scandalous path (she’s shooting for Scarlet Saint, though she’s quite a ways to go yet). Zinaida is interested in corresponding with other poets and writers, of any school, and is always interested in a game of chess or a cup of coffee at Caligula’s.
