Evening, delicious friends.
My name is Moritz, I’ve been playing Fallen London for a few days now and I totally love it.
Although it’s sometimes not that easy as an non-native English speaker ;)
Hello I’m Daniel.
Currently 42 years of age and stock broker by profession. I like making obscene amounts of money, spreadsheet juggling, number-crunching, constructive debate, disassembling/debugging and watching action-porn movies. All the time I have that I am not occupied doing any of that, I am either wasting my time gaming or enjoying my family.
I tend to dislike all (social) media and people in general. This comes with the territory of Aspergers’, of which I happen to enjoy a mild variant.
Currently I have 2 personae in the Neath because that simplified the whole menace reduction interaction.
Hallo! Poking my head in the forums, with a warning that I’m way too good at lurking. I’ll try to write a bit, though. Quickly burns time between actions. ;)
I was brought to Fallen London by a friend of fiance’s, and I’m quite happy to be here. I’m really pleased by the story and atmosphere it provides. Plus, the plethora of actions to choose - I rarely feel boxed in by the choices I’m allowed.
Greetings delicious friends! I’m Jac the Knave! I’m a quixotic traveler who stumbled into Fallen London. A true bohemian to the core and the empty pockets to prove it. I enjoy books, games, artisanry, and every manner of circus skills.
I was, unfortunately, completely oblivious to the existence of Fallen London until I was introduced to it by way of the early-access release of Sunless Sea on Steam. Ever since then, however, I have been delighted (and occasionally dismayed) by the storytelling that is found in the Neath.
I look forward to many more months, if not years, of interaction and reading.

This is the part of the con where I sell myself to you, usually with a list of some self effacing attributes:
"Funny, Charming, Kind to Animals.™"
It is such a myopic vantage point to be pitching my virtues, so I won’t. I mean, of course I’ve come to the realization I’m as sweet as prisoner’s honey and delicate as a master wrapped in those robes of theirs. Whether I not I can get this trademarked is the issue. I’m having legal sort it out.
Also, trying to drag you kicking and screaming to this same conclusion? Damn near impossible. Premature enlightenment is often painful, even toxic.
Greetings fellow dwellers of the Neath. I am jumjumlp (don’t ask) a shadowy individual who has roamed the streets of Fallen London for a few months. I am currently making a prominent carrier of "moving things". I am also a newcomer in the game as well as a friend of urchins. I hope we can all get along nicely in the future
Oh. Hello. I am Ami, lover of stories and bats of all sorts. I first came to this fine game a few years back, when the almost-equally-fine gentlepeople at Extra Credits made mention of it. Since then I’ve been quite pleased with the world of mysteries, romance, and bats I’ve found within, even despite the occasional frustrations when the RNG decides to be an extra huge jerkface and make me fail like six times in a row when I’ve got a 75% chance of success how does that even happen…!
Erm, yes. Anyway. I have two characters currently:
-Soran, my original character; a scholar and artist of indistinct gender, who seeks to play the Marvelous in their off-time.
-Zero Hunt, my alt; a young and eccentric gentleman spy, who came to the Neath to avenge his brother’s death.
Good evening misteryous persons, is pleasing to gather with such remarkable folk in this strange so called "community", I dedicate many hours of my living on learning more and more about this incredible city, and merging with the local folk is proving to be very profitable in my ambition on learning the secluded misteries of existance, and, I have to admit, very pleasing to an young-hearted dandy like myself. I’ve just moved from the surface and I wish I had done it earlier, of course the neath has its dangers, but those dangers combined with a pulsating and diverse society and the shadowy nature of the neath are much fulfilling one’s soul! I’m on a delicious frenzy, searching, learning, looking, trying, tasting it’s not just revigorating it’s reborning!! See you folk later at the veilgarden, haha… Nice!

Who’s next?
That would be moi, i presume. I just started Fallen London - my current computer fascination. My first fascination? Ah… Adventure. Played on an IBM 370 thru an Anderson Jacobs acoustic coupler with an EBCDIC terminal. 'bout the same time I was also playing Dungeons and Dragons.
Off the computer I race sailboats and cook (and eat).
Happy to be friends with anyone who asks - I’m afraid I have little information to offer however.
I thought it was high time I reared my monstrous head on the forums to bid a friendly hello. Failbetter absorbed me a couple of months ago, I’m ecstatic to be joining such a great community of friendly people. You’ll see me here and there, we may even bump into each other from time to time. I enjoy cats, crackers and unnecessarily vague statements. My belly has a persistent maggoty grumbling.
BFW - wouldn’t normally edit my betters unless I found it particularly funny, but you deserve colour, as a man of power. edited by babelfishwars on 9/29/2014
Good eve gentle men, women and those between- I am Demi- I seek answers yet hunger more for the questions! I come from the surface from the roses of both white and red, I can never resist a story of intrigue so upon hearing whispers of the Echo Bazaar i searched and found Fallen London, I must admit, the Neathly delights carry quite an addiction… So I purchased a second candle last week and maybe another once this ones wick is spent!
Yours most humbly,
D.G.
I be Cap’n…ahem…many apologies. Allow me to start again.
I am Captain Wiggles. 'Twas a chance run in with the good ship Sunless Sea that brought me to these darkened shores only but a few days ago, and I am, in real life, a zailor…sorry, sailor. But enough about real life.
A man of the sea I be…sorry…I am. Or rather, I was. Until a chance run in with a watery de’il set me adrift from the sun and stars, and sent me to this darkened abyss. Ye see, wi’out the stars I cannot navigate and what kind of a sailor is one who cannot navigate? A lost one, that’s what. An’ that’s what I am, lost.
An’ even if I could see the stars, what use would they serve? Even if I could navigate, how far could I go? Nowhere, that’s how far. I appear to be missing a ship you see. I am a Captain without a vessel. I am Captain only by name.
Aye, it’s my real name, or it might as well be. An’ so is Wiggles, or it might as well be. Wiggles is the name I’ve answered to for the better part o’ me life. An’ when I say the better part, I mean the ‘better’ part. I didn’t get this interesting scar for nothing. But maybe I’ll tell you one of the tales of how I got this interesting scar later, over a drink perhaps. An’ maybe I’ll tell ye many and more tales. Only first, I got to find them. Or gather enough wits and guile to make the ‘tales’ believable.
So here I am, with a whole new…Zea, to explore, new adventures to be had, new tales to tell, new fights to be fought, new drinks to…well, drink. All I ask is a tall ship and a star, or some luminous fungi, to steer her by.

Welcome Hannah. Good to hear the Fallen London team is thriving. And an FL tumblr! Is that new? It’s new to me.
And welcome Captain Wiggles (I very nearly made a terrible faux pas and called you Mr Wiggles, which is someone else entirely). I, for one, immensely look forward to hearing your tales, whether they tall or tiny.
Why thank you Fairweather.
Aye, ofttimes I have been mistaken for a this foul teddy. However, my powers of persuasion are, for the moment at least, much lower than his.
Evening, e’ry body, whether cold or warm. In the Overworld, I claim the identity of a nitpicking computer geek with a fondness for Marvel comics and an obsession with possibilities- or lack thereof. In the Neath, I roam London as a nitpicking shadow with a single coded imperative: to uncover all the mysteries London may hide.
I’ve been playing this game for over two years, but recently I deactivated my account- formerly liqflames- in favor of starting anew as liqflamess. I very much enjoy Marvel comics and movies and religiously consume baked goods.
Good evening.
I am Concordat.
I am not one to waste borrowed breath, I’ll be succinct.
I look forward to our time together.
Again, good evening, and good travels.
My name is Hilla. I hail from the Low Countries.
Likes: text adventures, fantasy and cats. Dislikes: broccoli.
Have been exploring Fallen London for a while now.
Fascination is increasing.
