Hi there! I’m Nuti, soon a natural sciences graduate from Finland. I stumbled upon here led by a favorite Youtube show of mine, Extra Credits, which featured a couple of years ago an episode about non-combat games. As warmly as they recommended Fallen London (Echo Bazaar that time), I recommend that show to anyone who loves thinking games, their influences and their mechanics more than it’s healthy (and even those who aren’t that desperate)!

So, I like thinking about things, roleplaying, drawing, and writing, and I’ve taken interest in explorer-y games like these. I’m terrible in reflex-based games, so slower-pace games like these are my cup of tea.

Hi! I’m Kaza and i’ve actually been playing fl for…i’m pretty sure at least two years, but i never really participated in the community before. I thought maybe i could change that and actually talk to fellow players! :)

Greetings! My name is Seph, and I’ve been in the Neath for around 4 months. I just want to make a clean profit and, maybe, learn something here. Well, I did. Now I’m stuck, but this is one of the better places to be. I’m a true citizen of the Neath now, and I’m definitely not crazy. cackles

Hello!

I play Marianne Anders in Fallen London. I’m working on getting her involved in the Great Game, and we’ll see how that goes. Good tidings!

Good Twilight to you all (considering its very late where im at)! I just stumbled across your wonderful city and i am having a great time here! Still learning things considering i am only a few hours in… not to mention i started right in prison; blasted guards. Anyhow, just thought i drop a note, all friendships and advice are welcomed!

Well hello there, one and all.
I am the consciousness residing within a, ah, being of unknown composition and debatable origins. I’m not entirely sure what brought me here, as I have precious few memories of the Land Above. Perhaps that serves only to fuel my inexorable thirst for that which I should probably not know. I am a bit of an isolationist, and I prefer to observe without being observed, though I have learned that I must, how do you say, ‘mingle’ if I am to sate my mysterylust as it were. I also have a knack for tangling up with questionable crowds, though personally I think that simply makes things more interesting. One can never get anywhere by staying comfortable and safe, I always say. Or, at least I think that was me. Oh! My name? Hum… Gestures to a small, tarnished metal plaque drilled rather unceremoniously into the neck; it is quite worn. It reads &quotPL46U3&quot and perhaps something else. I suppose that will do.
I forget how long I have been resident to these neathy parts, though I can say with certainty that I am a recent addition and that times have been delightful. For the most part. Some nasty business here and there, but ho! Such is the spice of life. Not unlike paprika. Regardless, I look forward to the duration of my stay here with all of you undoubtedly fine folks!

Greetings.
My character is Aleise Xian, as my username would suggest. I am currently working on improving Watchful.

Salutations one and all,

I was directed here by an older eccentric gentleman I work with (Ken R.) who thought I would appreciate the style here. Quite the fellow really. I must say, I appreciate this guidance, as I often do, and will ensure he is made of aware of his impeccable taste. I do rather dislike feeding his pride, but right is right.
A bit scandalous, I admit, but I've found myself a wide net of acquaintances: the urchins and Tomb colony residents, poets and a lovely widowed woman, and even the church and infernals. Can't have good without the bad after all. I would love to continue this rather exciting experience with more of you delicious citizens.
Feel free to drop me a letter or better... I am found, most typically, in the Veil Garden or the Carnival as of late.

Well hello.
Up on the surface I’m simply a university student, working for a biomedical degree. Elsewise I enjoy games of all sorts, movies, reading, and good humor. Nothing better than a compelling story. And a fantastic story I chanced upon in discovering this place. I’ve been around half a year now (alas, 'tis my nature to lurk), but the Hallowmas festivities have led me to seek interaction and I intend to stick around.
As for the Neath, Matthias was a con man on the Surface and the descent made him no less unscrupulous. He’ll build up connections with anyone, so long as he sees profit in it down the road. Of course, the most delectable sort of profit is in the form of secret knowledge. Feel free to drop by and visit. He’s great company. Best not to bring anything valuable.

A good evening to ye, fine sirs and madames. I have only recently managed to free myself from New Newgate, and I have taken up residence in Spite, in this wonderful city. This place, however, struck as me as a tad, well, lonely, and I would to have a friend or two in this most odious location. Correspondence would be well accepted, should I not be busy with nefarious activities and such. doffs hat A good evening to ye, and a hopefully brief farewell.

Greetings, gentlefolk, Rubbery Men, and assorted Things. I’ve been exploring the neath since, goodness, 1889. I was away for a while, but the recent Hallowmas revelry has brought me back to Fallen London. So I sailed my zubmarine back to Wolfstack Docks and disembarked to find the city somewhat altered since my last visit.

I’m currently dithering about Destiny.

Greetings!
I am ajshell1. Call me AJ.
I have just entered this fine city, and, finding it pleasing to me, I am looking for acquaintances.
If you need someone to assist you in any of your endeavors, I would be pleased to accompany you.
Best wishes to all of you, and farewell for now.

Greetings delicious ones,

I am rosedragon, played fallen london when jayisgames mention it ages ago (when fallen london still called echo bazaar and uses twitter). Now coming back after I droll over sunless sea.

I’m an indie game designer and art illustrator, also a crazed gamer (played all kind of games from casual to hardcore, bloody to cutey, indie to AAA) and love to daydream.

[li]Good evening
My Fallen London name is Reseeda. I arrived to this dark city less than a week ago. I don’t understand the the game fully yet, but it is fascinating. A the moment i concentrate on increasing the main qualities.

Hello, my Fallen London persona is Plinth Dietrich von Adenoid, a lady who wants desperately to Do the Right Thing. She’s not always terribly good at resisting things left unattended and people who need a d–n good thrashing, however. Plinth recently married the lovely KannaOphelia in a rather hush hush hasty marriage.

Beyond my Fallen London avatar, I am Izzy, and thank goodness for the beginners help thread ere, I thought I could concentrate on one stat and am now trying to catch the others up!

Hello! My name is Toviya, and i’ve been enjoying FL/EB off and on for years, but only just ventured to the forums. Oddly, I tend to be particularly active around the holidays (as I’m sure Mr Sacks can attest), though an abundance of insomniac tendencies is bringing me more often of late.

Greetings and salutations! My name is Marn, and I am a huge fan of both text adventures and eldritch horrors so naturally Fallen London is my new favorite game. I started playing a few weeks ago to give myself something to do during the graveyard shift I work and I ended up totally enthralled in the universe and lore. I’m a writer myself, and I’m having loads of fun developing my two characters, Cap and Vesper, on the fly as I play!

Good evening. I’m a recent arrival in the fallen city. Despite the name, I have no connection to the Church, nor any aspirations to martyrdom.
