For those with the coral skulls grinded from Jericho, are they showing up as favors?
I just came back to mutton island with 30 coral skulls and my favors are unchanged.

The “Potential Thalassic Favour” quality gets updated at the end of a dive, so you may need to go down and resurface (with treasure) for it to be refreshed and up to date. I assume the skulls are still perfectly tradeable, they just haven’t been accounted for in the helper note.
Twice, TWICE in a row I’ve attempted the deepest dive with a 90% chance and failed. 40-60 actions down the crapper, just like that.
Learn from my example, if any of you are contemplating not getting your reverence preparations up to 11. The RNG is NOT your friend. It LIES.
Well… 90% is still a gamble, and you are at the mercy of the RNG gods.
I think I used 90% to get to the deepest level once, successfully. Visited three times so far, two more to go.
After that I will go hunt coral skulls… I believe using 90% (Supplication level 10) to get to level 4 depth dive (100% chance success) is enough to get the most economic returns. In other words, after your first five encounters at the deepest level, there is no need to go there anymore, level 4 is good enough.
Unless there is another reason to deep dive to level 5 after that?
Just confirmed it, you have to take a dive and come back with some treasures before the favor will update.
Just noticed this, does this mean that you can only change your destiny through Irem, and you can only use the drowning feast to get a new one? Or am I misreading something?
I can’t find “Audiences with the Bride” in “myself” and “possessions” tabs. I visited it two times. What’s wrong?
Nothing wrong, it’s a hidden quality.
I tried the 90% check again out of curiosity. It failed. AGAIN. Once is a gamble. Twice may, debatably, be considered bad luck.
3 times is proof the RNG is out to get me, personally.
Having every check below 100% succeed makes me thing I’m stealing your RNG luck actually, so… sorry about that.
RNG giveth and RNG taketh awaye. Prayse be to RNG.
If you finished Evolution I understand you can change it now. Otherwise, next week.
Hidden quality, but the echoes change every time ( Beg audience with this ancient power).
I can confirm that that thing is no longer at dive level 5 (your 6th dive), after having already encountered it five times.
Another interesting thing I have discovered: if you retrieve the Scrimshander Carving Knife from your dive but already got the item from previous year’s FotZ event, when you check the total favour value of your loot, only the value of what you had taken from your dive is calculated.
Even though in theory, you can trade in the items from previous years’ FotZ, they’re the same as this year’s.
I wonder if there will be a requirement to have at least two of an item in order to trade one away, to avoid the frustration of losing a useful item by accidentally selling your last one due to a misclick.
I hope not! My alt wants to get rid of her wrecking boots!
My guess is that there will be, since the potential Thalassic Favour calculator doesn’t take into account Favour from items that you only have one of, but that could always be misleading.
Well, the “treasures” figure doesn’t count things like Pedestrian Polyps or Grasping Coral which will turn into equipment later. I hope I have enough Thalassic Favour to get a new ship–that would be very pleasant. Though I wonder what would happen to the pirate guns I have mounted on my ship.
I recently scrapped my Rusty Tramp Steamer to get a Zubmarine, and I didn’t lose my Corsair’s Colours. I assume that you will also keep your pirate equipment with the new ships.
I’m a bit confused about gaining a destiny. If I do not have one can I skip directly to Irem to get an advanced destiny now or do I need to get a regular one in the second week first then trade it for an advanced one in Irem? From the write up it seems as if you can just go straight to Irem, but Bruno replied to me on Discord saying it is more convenient to get one in week 2 at the festival.
Would I be correct in assuming that Week 2 of the festival starts on the 14th, and thus there’s a good argument for getting off this godforsaken fishy rock and going about my other business for a while, now that I’ve topped out on Thalassicism and bits of coral?
