As expected, Mr Spices is also completely useless, but interesting nonetheless. It’s also become my favorite victim in the Neath. I so love to mess with Mr Spices whenever I get the chance. Delicious!
Now to wait for Mr Fires… edited by Baron Lagavulin on 11/14/2020
I mean, I’m not entirely thrilled, as Cover Identities are incredibly confusing to me, and I’m still way behind on preparing dishes, but I’m sure I can work towards on of the options in the upcoming weeks . . . here’s hoping the story with Furnace isn’t needed to be completed in order to build the next station, though.
Edit: I don’t think it helps I find both the antithesis of fun, so being forced to work out how - especially the former - they work and then grinding out that to progress . . . it may be just me, but it leaves me pretty miffed after this long a wait with stations and the overall storyline, as it’s a big hurdle to progress the story that I was dying to see how it’d conclude. edited by Robin Alexander on 11/14/2020
So, if I abandon the search for deer femurs so I can feed Wines, and deal with Fires instead, will I ever see Wines again to feed him the … thing I can’t make yet?
Thankfully the identity you need only takes like, three clicks. No items needed.
And you get a doubled skull from the bone duplicator.
The wiki says the identity requires Ties 3 and Elaboration 2. I mean, if takes three clicks, fair enough, but I thought each one would take multiple clicks and multiple rounds/grinding? Just I can’t find how to make Ties at all.
My kitchen doesn’t offer me the option to make the needed dish at all (do I need Toxicology and Femurs before it’ll appear)?
I’m just stuck with options I can’t click, and the game itself offers no clues how to proceed, so I’m sort of scrambling back and forth (wasting actions) and scouring the wiki, and trying to infer from this post, and . . . incredibly frustrated, I admit ^_^() edited by Robin Alexander on 11/14/2020
You need ties to the underclasses, which sets the value to 3. That’s only one click. Then click on an elaboration option twice, and you are done.
I think the underclasses does cost an urchin favour come to think of it. But elaboration is free.

. . . it’s not one click when you apparently need to move your cabinet from level 3 to 4 to achieve that, which is I think the issue.
It seems like that still might be more doable than the meal option, so I’ll try that.
I mean, I do wish the game was clearer at times with how to proceed, as I’m not sure I’d ever have been able to work any of this out without your comment here and the wiki to cross-check with, but . . . oh well, least there are forums, which is a huge help.
I believe you need to make its precursor, the pickle thing, first. And you’re right about these grinds not being particularly entertaining. edited by Snort on 11/14/2020
I just always max out whatever the new buildings are when I get to an area, since that always determines longterm capabilities and options. The Femur of a Surface Deer thing is fairly annoying though.

There’s now an option in balmoral. The dumbwaiter gives you 25 of them. edited by Jules Asimov on 11/14/2020
Just as I finish my cover identity, there seems to either be an option I missed, or a new one, which only requires 4 Investigating. I can’t say enough how immensely happy I am to see that. edited by Robin Alexander on 11/14/2020
