Has anyone posted this yet? I appear to have found all the possible titles available.

Oooh, now we have an easy way to get Sworn Statements. I figured there would be a way to repair one’s Imperial Legitimacy in the Foreign Office without it hitting 0, but I wasn’t expecting items on top of that.
Has anyone worked out the formula for the rewards yet? I haven’t been keeping notes, but 143 favour turned into 57 echoes’ worth of goods, while 243 favour turned into 75 echoes’ worth of goods. Can anyone share any more data?
I may have mathed wrong, but (all of these are trading in one kind of favour) I was getting 42.5 echoes for ~150 favour, 57.5 for ~175 favour, and 60 for ~200. Were you trading in both kinds together? Am I counting something wrong?
Not sure about the reward formula, but a preliminary run through sacrificing no Imperial Legitimacy but wasting one or two actions on the Aunt choice, I got an epa of 1.48, approximately. It’s not as good a profit maker as one might believe, though it’s still quite good. I imagine it can hit up to 1.8 with the right choices, but the issue is that it’s so far away

It may well be that I was mis-calculating my reward. I have a hard time keeping track of the value of the various reward items. I’ll keep better notes in future and see what I have to show for a few more runs.
Lovely new content. The setting is atmospheric, and the morality of some of the choices offered is rather interesting. But why on earth do I LOSE imperial legitimacy for doing things the foreign office explicitly asks me to? edited by Very dangerous tomato farmer on 6/6/2015
Oh, I am so torn! I want to see Port Carnelian, but I’ve resisted so far anything that will get me banished from the Court. Mostly because I have still never got over that mess with the University–even after they let me back in, it wasn’t the same and I couldn’t go back to the proper academic life anymore.
I agree with Alexis; the Port Carnelian content is splendidly written! I’m about to head over then for the fifth time (having had one complete successful term and been ushered out of town ignominiously three times more). What fun!
Best that I can tell, Imperial Legitimacy measures how loyal/upstanding you appear to the Court, etc., back in London. It goes down when you appear to be too sympathetic to one group of colonials or another, and goes up when you publicly reinforce your ties back in London or directly carry out their orders.
Most of these situations are relatively obvious, but a wrench is tossed into the works by the addition of the Foreign Office. The Foreign Office is not the Court. Sure, you, the Office, and even London itself may benefit from intelligence gathered from a Khaganian source, but all the Court sees is their appointed Governor getting rather cozy with the enemy. Thus, a loss in Legitimacy.
Huh, so we get to Heart of Darkness it up? As someone who has strong opinions on colonialism being evil but also someone who has no respect for cultural relativism, this should be interesting. I’ve done one cycle already, trying to learn the ropes.
I haven’t seen an option for the aunt. Does she not appear if you’ve advanced her to the Fate portion of her storyline?

She does show up with fate portion complete, you just need to get lucky with the "weather"
Currently is there any way to regain Imperial Legitimacy should we decline after a successful term, or do we have to bungle it up and get shipped home to revisit the Foreign Office once more.
If you go to the Foreign Office you can repair your Imperial Legitimacy before it hits rock bottom. You’ll get some Sworn Statements on top of it too, which is nice. So if your Imperial Legitimacy is getting dangerously low just play it safe for the rest of the term, and then you can head back to London to fix it right up.

There also seems to be some rare and few Legitimacy repairing actions in the governship itself. Sapphire Mines (10), saving men from tigers (5), Orders from on High (10), and possibly executions.

That’s correct. If push comes to shove, you can just go back and forth between the Tea House and the Tigers’ Assembly (which won’t affect your Imperial Legitimacy) until one of the Legitimacy repairing actions turns up.
I’m having a lot of fun with my terms at governor, delightful writing. Curious to see if the title level will have some effect in-game (opening new cards or options).
The only thing, I would have liked to have a bit more options to restore Legitimacy at Port Carnelian, eventually at the cost of some of Tigers and/or Khanate. but I understand the idea of not allowing too many consecutive terms and forcing people to go back to London to recover Legitimacy.
Also, it is true as someone said that the decrease in Legitimacy of some options is surprising, judging by the description of the action.
