Back to New Newgate! I just love how insane this all is! Sure wish I’d had a key at the time, though. I wonder if I’ll be able to go back and try again with one. Seems likely not.

Ontology is tied to the weather, yes… but maybe the Candied Door was always just a teaser at this point?
Anyone got ideas about where to get the right Key? I was holding a Stone Tentacle Key, a Library Key, an Old Bone Skeleton Key and several Lodgings Keys at the time.
Maybe it’s the Key of Dreams, which does not exist… 
Also, has anyone figured out the Wellspring of Spatial Uncertainty yet? I can’t seem to get Maintaining the Distance over 1.
Edit: That one’s been figured out. Requires lots of Zailing and getting Exiled.
I thought it might be the key you get from counting, but I didn’t have one when I went, so I haven’t tried it yet. It seemed like we’ll get another chance, but I don’t know when.

That storylet in “Fallen London, where everything is as it should be” where you can Add One - the picture is of a varying number of keys, depending on how much you’ve counted, and then resetting to zero after I think seven?

You’re right about that having pictures of keys and locks… but it doesn’t actually give you a key at any point. 
And my accounts probably had all possible values between None and Six when the autofire storylet hit.
What I noticed was that Preparing for Another Daring Escape was set to either 18, 19 or 20 after escaping. No idea if that’s random or influenced by something.
It’s in Moloch Street. You should see it if you’ve hunted down at least one Spatial Law.
A key that you haven’t been given seems like a plausible sort of tool in this situation, but if you’ve tried it then I have no ideas. Ah well. This is all so bewildering, but in a fun way.
No, you’re on the right track! New Newgate is a Living Story, locked with Seven 7.
We need to find a way to get Seven to 7 !!!
… and preferably before the Living Story A Fading Certainty of the Facts of your Escape activates and sends us back to New Newgate.
This is the storylet I think you mean, but I’m still a bit lost on how to get to it. Do we have to hit every Menace location? Or Zail places?
ETA: Never mind, i see it in the guide. Wow this event is moving fast, I’m still just trying to hunt enough Laws to get the Crew

Yeah, I’m starting to be stressed for time. Trying to trust that they’ll give us enough time to get everything, but I’ve only done a few hunts and things keep happening, and 20 is a lot of hunts!

Unfortunately, my body insists on sleep, even during Estival 
Since we don’t know when the Living Story that sends us back to prison autofires, I’m going to test two theories:
- We were told we need a key. As in one key. So I’ve set my Seven quality to One on one half of my accounts.
- On the others, I’ve set it to Six. Maybe we need one more key.
My hope is that either One or Six will unlock an extra storylet during our next prison stint which will then set Seven to Seven.
We’ll see either way. Good night

Yeah, I’ve been really sick, so I took a nap…Wow things are moving FAST
I tried satisfying my curiosity re the Saint and got hit with six wounds, lolsob. So far I’ve spent at least half my gameplay reducing menaces.

Yeah, I do hope hunting laws stays for at least a while after the event, or maybe even permanently. Hunting 20 laws is a big ask, even when not considering the actions spent reducing menaces or doing anything else in the event.

I think it’s reasonable to assume that the laws will stick around till the end of the event, at minimum, and that there will be some slower periods within the week or two it lasts where we’ll have time to do some hunting. Since Estival started, they’ve gotten more and more careful about making sure people don’t miss out on the goodies (and better and better at timing it), so I can’t imagine they’d toss that out the window now. But I still can’t help but feel nervous about it!
