Is it possible to reach a perfect balance of qualities?

Eh, there is no reason not to think that all those iconoclastic beliefs you push and addendum texts you integrate into doctrines are actually rational thinking and scientific principles. At least that’s my headcanon XD I &quotdiscovered&quot an entirely new saint for this, no reason he (or, rather it, considering I used prismatic frame) wasn’t buried with an ancient text proclaiming Twelve Virtues of Rationality or a treatise on how applying falsifiability to orthodox Church doctrines (and the world at large) is actually a word of God.

I just wanted to restore the nice little church for my railway passengers on their way to lovely ol’ Hell

Now I’m getting screamed at by Southwark

You’ll be wanting to found a Counter-Church, then. They’re all about dispelling others’ beliefs. (We already have a facility for spreading knowledge, though - the restored university library in Jericho Locks!)

NOOOO!

I got Church in the Wild result, which isn’t too bad, but I really wanted that Counter Church in the Wild. Then seconds later I realized that if I had sat tight until the next board meeting to finish confirming the Xenotheologist, the change would have tipped me over the edge!

Now I have to contemplate whether it’s worth shelling out a whopping 50 fate just so I can spend a fortune in materials all over again!

Oh, come on. Mere fact of being can be enough to be screamed at by Southwark.

Loved Burrow-Infra-Mump content. Yeah, I peeked into guide - and even after that I haven’t understood, that there is actually 3 pairs of 2 opposite qualities, not 6 of them. All this time I tried to understand why we have both Humility ans Ostentity - seemed kind of redundant. Then - well, right after I finished inspection - I understood. Sometimes I think, that I really not that Watchful.
Anyway, lore was great. Southwark shown himself as much more adequate character to me - he just wants to do his work, beat last Republic out of sinners and so on. But someone just have to create a havoc. His fits (especially that one, when you tried to assign him as patron) are amazing. Drummer story is interesting too. Vice Admiral - well, I took him second I saw him, because of some Dark-Spectacled Admiral I used to know. Gameplaywise was quite interesting too - and there were much less grind, that one could expect.
Amazing, just amazing.

Is it possible to reach a perfect balance? And what happens at inspection, if that’s possible and reached?

PSA: Everyone can now build both post-church extensions, the editor outpost and the museum. Instead of being exclusive to certain churches, they’re now simply cheaper for some churches than others.

That´s great news. Except that I just built an Anglican Church only for those birdy wings (missed that one on whitsun), while in any other aspect the other churches sounded much more attractive. o_O

It’s just the Museum of Souls/Outpost of God’s Editors that opened up. The options that require In Burrow seem to still be restricted. So wings for you, Vienna Openings for me, etc.

Strange that main reward (shapeling art weapon) is not associated with church at all.

Also there is a new line of conter-church items, which require a lot of conter-creed verses. Which in turn pretty hard to get without cloud sphere (TE election gift) or fate-locked church type. Most likely it would be a huge pain in lower regions in near future.

My guess/hope is that there will be new sources of Counter-Verses soon. It’s a pain to grind thighs in order to get them 2 at a time and otherwise you need headless bodies and duplicated Fake Baptist Heads.

It’s what has single-handedly meant I haven’t gotten my church finished yet.

I wanted a Church in the Wild, I got myself a Church in the Wild! Nice!

I had iconoclastic and orthodoxy in balance at the final stage of the inspection. It defaulted to the option that gave me the Church in the Wild. The only option I had to chose was the orthodoxy option.

And now that I finally undesrstood how the inspection works, all that I need is to decide - Counter-Church or Church in the Wild? DEcisions, decisions…

Wow, according to the Wiki the Burrow statue card is very good indeed in nearly all incarnations.

I really appreciate the one I got providing Verses of Counter-Creed, mainly out of a gut feeling it’ll come in handy in Hell proper.

What’s the mechanism/return on getting the Verses? I’m thinking about re-doing the ES to make myself a Bishop, but I don’t want to spend the Fate without knowing what the statue actually does.

2 Extraordinary Implications and 2 Memory of a Much Lesser Selves (To go full grammer nazi, I think it should be MEMORIES of a much lesser SELF) in exchange for building a Statue to Yourself, Bishop of Watchmaker’s Hill (an achievement possible from The Sinking Synod ES). On it’s own and all things being equal, for a thing unlocked by actual money I suppose it’s valid but mediocre (50% baseline Mithridacy check, AFTER raising the stat to it’s current cap) if you’re like me and have a healthy paranoia the church items will prove valuable as we enter Hell.

But with the Wandering Gondolier still active (he’s a perpetual source of Memories from asking him about Hell), my Hesperidean Cider providing me with constant Implications whenever I stop by London and enough Mithridacy items to keep the check at 90% it suddenly becomes a free flow of the things for me personally.

Can anyone echo all the options to deal with the Drummer?
