[quote=Deathjack999]What’s the most reliable Way to get Airag?
Because short of Acquiring 35 cellars of Wine through the most inefficient means possible…I have no other way of getting Tears.
But seriously who looked at the requirements for this step and said "Good idea! Print!"

Someone who expects us to be seriously endgame, I imagine.

Well the very least they could do is increase the chance of Presumptuous Little Opportunities showing up.
so, how do I start part 2? just go to the my lab and research the parabola route?

Probably the same kind as the one who approved 777 Skyglass Knives or 77 Ravenglass Knives is an acceptable price in Nemesis.
(In addition to Presumptuous Opportunity, the End of Battle card in the Nadir is also a way to obtain Airag, though that’s not reliable either.)
Correct, if your profession is not Glassman. If your profession is Glassman, you can head out the Honey-Den in Veilgarden and open the route using the profession exclusive method there instead.

Grind your wines. 1882 Greyfields to get Morelways. Morelways to get Strangling Willow Absinthe. Strangling Willow Absinthe to get Broken Giant. 25 Broken Giant plus one Church Favour for 5 Cellars of Wine. And 5 Cellars of Wine traded through the Portly Sommelier card for a bottle of Airag. The last step depends upon getting the card, but the rest can be done any time–just choose cards and actions to get more of the other wines, and trade up when you have enough in a category.
With access to the Velocipede Squad, that’s iirc the best way to grind Broken Giant. Selling Hounds of Heaven to the Bishop is also a good way to get Cellars of Wine directly.
Presumptuous Opportunity can be a frustratingly elusive card when it wants to be, but this is still a far cry from Bat with Attitude. The Sommelier can also be summoned with Favorable Circumstances, in the most dire of circumstances.
[quote=The Curious Watcher]I’ve reached the current boundary and can give a few details about a few things for new players will need for the Base Camp so you don’t have to go back and forth from the Parabolan Base Camp to London like I did:
5 Aeolian Screams
Both a regular Parabolan Linen Suit & Dress from the Bazaar, some honey, and Strong-backed Labour. Monster-Hunters can ignore spending Strong-backed Labour.
11 Rookery Passwords, 11 Pulsating Amber, or help from Fate-locked Countess of Thorns or an Anchoress.
A Parabolan Panther, a Bengal Tigress or a Dream-Hound from the Fate-locked Animal Husbandry
A certain step will require 5 Urchin favours to progress if you have started and completed the fate-locked Mysteries of the Foreign Office, or a Bazaar Tear, a Cellar of Wine, and Connected: Masters if you haven’t and are not willing to spend fate.
If you still have a Half-Wild Mandrake, there’s a bit of flavour text after you deliver the payload.
This is just from memory, feel free to add other options & materials needed to progress for this step in the Ambition.

thank you, this was very helpful! I will add that you might also want to have dreams of a game of chess and what the thunder said at 5. the first one will be used in the ambition, apparently. however, I didn’t have WTTS at 5, so I didn’t do the storylet for that one, and don’t know if it will be used.
After doing some experimenting at the Parabolan Base Camp with my Monster-Hunter, you can grind the base stat of Monstrous Anatomy and Glasswork (not including equipment) to a maximum of 5. I presume that the other two stats, Kataleptic Toxicology and a Player of Games, have a similar cap placed on them.
So for those who reached the current Ambition boundary, what do you think will happen at the end of this Ambition?
Where is this Player of Games stat found?
Sorry, I meant “Player of Chess.”
Out of curiosuty, when do you guys think the lab and base camp will be released to everyone? I’m hoping for a relatively small gap in release to the masses as the content is already there in the system.
I expect that you get to keep one of the Veil fragments.
There’s a typo in the walk like Veils result, I think. ‘Walk as though your feet were shorter than your arms’ is exactly what humans do, isn’t it? It should be ‘legs are shorter’ or ‘feet are longer.’

I for one hope you can cook and devour Mr. Veils, all 3 of him, and then having proven Londoners were the most dangerous game all along take up his robe and start hunting everyone else like a psychotic Batman.
you know, I just wanted my 4 million echoes.
I don’t think I’m getting 4 million echoes.
Yeah, it’s likely that Bag a Legend players will be allowed to spare an aspect of the Vake to become a companion.
At the same time, it should be possible to completely annihilate Veils, since this entire Ambition is about killing the Vake.
For those who made a deal with Mr Wines, I hope that I can choose to kill April. The Liberation will never come to pass!
You know, I never thought I’d have to dump all my Attar to get through this step of the Ambition (I’m still stuck on getting the Tears of the Bazaar), but I got INCREDIBLY Lucky getting the Rare Success of Attar/3 Favours with 204 Attar.
That was enough dosh to purchase the Wines for the Greyfields+Morelways side of the Cellars (I got the Strangling Willow and Broken Giant by Up-And-Arounding 2000 Relics of the Third City)
Wait, how are you getting Cellars? You can just upconvert Broken Giant.
