I boosted myself from just under 6 scandal to nearly 8 (2 shy) with the church service, and full ‘reduce scandal’ items equipped. I was counting thousands of a percent on failing that many times in a row!

I accidentally added the Jovial Contrarian to my railway board. Not the worst misclick I’ve ever made. Probably the most entertaining. I was not expecting him to keep butting in while you’re talking to the other board members. It’s great! It’s annoying!

Minor gripe because this is entirely on me but muscle memory keeps making me throw away Queen Mates during Boardroom meetings because it becomes the top-most option once you convince Furnace, who also happens to be the top-most option by default.

I don’t know if this counts, but yesterday I accidentally bought the Hellworm Riding Boots instead of the second Hellworm I’d been saving the Scrip for, purely through sheer automatic playing. Now I have to keep grinding for another couple months (perhaps even a year, considering I need to gather unreasonable amount of money for a semi-existent city on the roof) to see if the game still remembers the name of my first Hellworm whom I’d de-named through saddling.
Talk about first world problems :P

Well darn, I started Whitsun with a misclick that cost me 3 Amber Ha’pennies. 
I got the Bellic and Sartorial Augmentations mixed up and now I have a second Pyrophone instead of the Iguana Boots I wanted… 
I hope one day they’ll add a way to turn in excess Whitsun items and companions, too.

Or, hear me out, hire more Agents, equip them with Pyrophones, Irresistible Drums, Consonant Violins, Rubbery Euphoniums and whatnot and start your own orchestra. Bonus options if you have a Rubbery Bellringer/Campanologist and are acquainted with a Sardonic Music-Hall Singer. Perform at the Singing Mandrake, Mahogany Hall and maybe even the Empress’ Court.
FBG is missing out on an opportunity here.

I am nowhere near Paramount Presence, I looked at the grinding requirements for London’s Body Parts and quailed.
You don’t need Paramount Presence to start Agents. You just need the POSI specialization (Shattering Force, Legendary Charisma, Invisible Eminence or Extraordinary Mind). Much less commitment than Paramount Presence.

I just guaranteed myself “an unsatisfying end in a yet unwritten story” over a misclick. I wish Failbetter had put some kind of warning on this one. Not just the instruction line that is already there, I meant something more like the Mr Eaten storyline has.
I hope there is a workaround to that “unsatisfying end” when it comes out.

Oof, that is a tough one. Especially considering it’s impossible to grasp. Just the lingering knowledge of something bad happening. Like a Greek Tragedy. I remember choosing the option on a semi-retired character and thinking “shouldn’t there be an are-you-sure question here?”, but I kind of forgot about it. I feel for you and try not to think about the huge vague sword hanging over you…

I just signed a terrible deal by not paying attention. I just wanted to get rid of a card.
I know support probably won’t revert it. But I’m very, very mad. I really didn’t want to do this, I never do self-destructive things like that. : (((
It feels even worse because I don’t even know what did I fuck up and how badly… And don’t know when I will know. I’m sad.
This game really lacks some “are you sure?” popups for some buttons…
