If you’re not too busy enjoying the Fruits of the Zee, here’s this week’s thread for quick questions!
Nope.
I even went into the Seeking section in my Lodgings; the Fortigan’s hint is still there, as well as telling me that I unlocked it by having no candle. I’m wondering if I needed to repeat certain actions or build up a certain quality to a certain number or something?
Looking at your Seeker’s journal and cross-referencing it with the wiki, it looks like you attended the first service, had a meal, and then stepped back into the other room. You aren’t missing St Beau, are you (I’m not sure how you would)? If you go back can you continue the services for each candle until the end?
Edit: Oops, kinda hoped I caught that message in time to stick it in a spoiler tag and update with the other echo I found.

Anyway, I’d recommend contacting support about it, since it seems like something fell through the cracks somewhere regardless.
Yeah, sorry for being a little tired and out of sorts. :) Support should be able to see what went wrong and set everything the way it was intended.
Is there some kind of bug on Mutton Island where "Time, the Healer" doesn’t trigger? It should have activated for me a few hours ago by now, but it hasn’t.
Large events (and server problems) often delay TtH.
OK; good to know. Thanks!
Are Fruits of the Zee rewards useless for end-game? None of them is best in slot. Or am i missing something?

Well, there’s more to life than maxing stats. Sometimes you want an underwater priest, or a throwing-cavy, or a deeply metaphorical compass.
It’s true that none of them are best in slot, but they’re still collector’s items, and can be useful to players who haven’t been playing the game for years. The Submerged Rector for example will last someone quite some time, at least until they get the slightly better Hallowmas Rubbery or the Tomb Colonies renown 40 companion.
The text is pretty fun too, though of course that’s subjective.
Thanks.
What is the best POSI specialization? I do have enough Watchful for full speed expeditions.
That would probably be the recently released Paramount Presence. Though I hear it’s bugged currently and doesn’t give you options like raising all stats to 15 or flirting with the Amanuensis.
If you don’t feel like doing the long grind for that, just do whatever suits your RP. Maintaining the stat boost is expensive since you can no longer go to the Nadir, and all the extra options are mostly just for fun (like said flirting).

How to get the Paramount Presence? Do it really require Notability 15 four times and Notabilty 12 four times (or fate) among other things?

Exactly! Plus to have the other 4 requirements. It’s a very long grind and it’s directly tied to your BDR, but I think it’s something worth pursuing!
Very simple:
[ul][li]Choose a main stat and ensure it’s 200 (unmodified).[/li][li]Use the stat-relevant Unfinished Business storylet to choose the stat-relevant POSI specialization.[/li][li]Increase Notability to 15[/li][li]Spend the 15 Notability on the An Unsigned Message card to overcap you chosen stat to 215.[/li][li]Use the same Unfinished Business option to get a unique "London’s Organism" quality (by meeting one of three end game requirements).[/li][li]Use 12 Notability or Fate to reset your POSI specialization[/li][li]Pick another main stat and repeat it all.[/li][li]Once you have all 4 different "London’s Organism" qualities you get the option to become a Paramount Presence.[/li][/ul]Actually, that doesn’t sound very simple after all… :-)

Wait, so do you not need to draw the Unsigned Message and overcap your stat? That’s good news to me, because I thought the prerequisite was a base 215 stat (as opposed to a base 200 stat and 15 notability).
You need the 215 stat, yes, though you don’t need any notability to get the organism quality. You don’t need the relevant POSI specialization either actually, so you could theoretically get 215 in all stats and then get all the organism qualities one after another.
No, that was my mistake. I’ll fix it
Presumably one cannot receive social interaction requests while on Mutton Island? Haven’t had any since I arrived.
Now I do like me a bit of social activity, but I’ve been getting so many requests lately it has driven me to distraction, seems like people are banging on my door every five minutes. The peace and quiet here is bliss! I think I may never go back to London. :)
