Correct - most social actions can’t reach people outside of London itself.
Letters and Christmas cards are an exception that can reach anyone, anywhere (even up NORTH!).
The mail delivery system in the Neath is phenomenal.

Of course, the mails are delivered by rats !
Are Destiny echoes the same during all three festivals?
Destinies are the same. The only small difference is in the storylets that lead you to one of the Destiny paths, e.g. Drowning Feast in the Fruits of the Zee Festival. [li]
I just recently became an exceptional friend again now that I am starting to become more active what with the upcoming festivals and all, but I can’t seem to play the Attendants, though I do not have A Night To Remember, nor an episode above 280. Is this a bug or did the gate end early and I missed out?
The story should be available until the appearance of the next. Perhaps you should contact failbetter?
Is there a convenient list of all the possible rewards from this festival, as well as a general guide? I was looking on the wiki but I got tired of clicking on a ton of links
I feel like stranding a boatless alt on Mutton Island for the next year.
Can anyone think of a reason that this would be unworkable?
I forget if there’s a Must storylet or just a regular one to get you off the island after the festivities are over. I know you can’t fully strand yourself there, however.
…aw.
Yes, that’s fairly common - you can go to any place with an infinite deck to fix it. Hop out to Zee, do a Flash Lay, anything like that should work.
I think fastest is to go to Pickpocket’s Promenade in Spite. You can purposely Loiter 3 times to fail and go back to London. The whole thing will take you about 8 actions. Much faster than a zee voyage.
NP.
I’ve been through this with 4 characters already… :-)
It’s the chapel that does it.
So what’s the highest level strange catch, as well as the most useful level to bother with? I’ve managed to get to 7 quite easily without throwing it back at all. Even with 4 rounds of throwing it back, I only reached 8 (granted I didn’t have the best luck with the options given). I’d like to pick up a rector, is 8 good enough?
Well I just got the rector, so NVM. It’d still be interesting to know how high people have pushed it though.

I think I hit 11 last year, but someone may seriously want to check their own notes. I feel that you run out of unique titles after awhile though and there aren’t any higher level rewards.

12 is the highest I’ve seen, and it had the same title/reward as 11.
I wonder what happens if your Sulky Bat encounters a Master.
Does it care? Does it not care? Is it too busy sulking, or does it recocgnise a being faintly similar to itself?
