Are you full of questions? I’m full of beans, but that’s unrelated. Here’s the thread for asking quick questions about Fallen London!
I’m curious about the Eater-of-Names (or as I like to call it, the nommer of noms). Does it play a role in any stories other than the creation of Dawn’s Law? I’m rather surprised that it’s not involved in any of the Your Father’s Bones storylines, what with it being a ship made of bones and all. Stealing your father’s bones back from the Zee would be pretty cool, but apparently there’s no leaving Mr Bones’s Wild Ride.
I’m full of beans
So you’re saying that we can trade you for parabola-linen at Irem?
The First Curator will accept the sketch of its figurehead for an example of gant, but aside from that I don’t think it comes up anywhere in either game.
Or turn me in at the University to be dissected!

Well that’s a given, beans or no, right?
I finally decided to write that opera and get exiled from Court, after your fine suggestions. Anything I should prepare for before heading into exile?

Do you have all the great literary works you want? You won’t have a source of them after you leave. I believe there are places where you can actually spend them (sacksmass, for some master’s connections, maybe?) so maybe have a couple of each?
Otherwise, it’s good to have church connections and-- oh wait that’s renown now. Uh… well it’s totally possible to get out of the tomb colonies without spending stuff, it might just take a little longer. If you haven’t been there before, there’s no reason to rush. Take some time to experience what it has to offer, and you’ll be back in a reasonable amount of time.
Maybe pick up a tomb lion while you’re there?

So… after finishing a term at the Foreign Office at Wilmot’s End, I just get into my ship and head into Port Carnelian? I am utterly confused.
If you’ve got the 100 Imperial Legitimacy, yes.
Great. I hope I do not lock myself out of it somehow.
Don’t worry, you can’t lock yourself out.
Hey peeps. I’m going crazy trying to meet the Regretful Soldier by drawing cards in Watchmaker’s Hill. Still no luck and I’m wondering if there’s an issue. Is there any other requirements at all other than dangerous 45?
Nope. As a general rule, if you’re not drawing a card you think you should be, it’s almost certainly just the RNG.
What is the best source of “Piece of Rostygold” for late game player? Maybe there is good way to convert other goods into the rostygold?
Do you have rats? You can turn in all your rats for Rostygold at the Department of Menace Eradication in Watchmaker’s Hill. Emphasis on "all."
There is an Opportunity Card that can only be drawn in Spite, which lets you convert 2,000 foxfire candles into Rostygold, and also gives a Church favor. You won’t draw it, because the RNG hates you, but it does exist.
Other than that, Unfinished Business in Watchmaker’s Hill.
You get a decent chunk (550) from the Rubbery/Constables conflict card. Also comes with a nice suspicion reduction.
What do you even need rostygold for as a late-game player? I haven’t used the stuff in ages. Does one of the ambitions call for it?
The Basalt Gymnasium and Gang of Hoodlums card both have options that give 150 Rostygold.
Docks and Constables favours, expeditions, and the option on the Young Stags card that turns 500 Rostygold into 2 Society and 1 Bohemian favours.
Zailing too
