London has a new mayor, and he’s all about those questions! You know what else is all about questions? This thread!
Well played, Sir Frederick.
Now, in terms of questions: I have Embroiled in the Wars of Illusion 25. I remember having played the story twice, taking different sides. Now I want to replay it and I cannot find the means to do so. Am I missing a reset somewhere? Thank you.
I didn’t even know it could be replayed; I thought once you reached 25, that was it.
There was a point when they put in the Trackers where you could reset the one that includes Embroiled in the War of Illusions to before you played that story. So that is probably what you are remembering. As far as I know there is no other way to reset the story.
Is there any Ambition content that’s permanently missable if I get prematurely kicked out of court / University, except the Topsy King’s opera? (I’d look on the wiki but I don’t want to get spoiled.)
Do Glassmen have any invite options? Like how Correspondents can be invited to an orphanage, or how Authors and Crooked Crosses can be invited to a salon?
You can return to the Court/University, so no, there wouldn’t be - not that I’m aware of any that involves either other than Heart’s Desire.
It seems the intention for this may be the Parabolan Base Camp, which is not implemented.
So I am stuck with my choice in Wars of Illusion? A pity. I was hoping to experience the content again, now that I actually know what Fingerkings are!
Once you’ve achieved the proper levels of Stormy-Eyed and, What The Thunder Said, do you get whisked straightaway off to the mind of the long-dead god? Or does it come up as a card / pinned storylet?

It is a pinned storylet available everywhere in London.
Are there any rumours of tier 4 professions?
And if I am looking at Poet Laureate as an ‘extreme Persuasive’ challenge; Scholar of The Correspondence as an ‘extreme Watchful’ are there similar for Shadowy and Dangerous?
They will be created eventually, but they have not been announced for the foreseeable future.
There are no Shadowy and Dangerous hallmarks similar to the Laureate and Courier (though I am personally hoarding equipment just in case)
I’m pretty sure I used to be able to see how long ago I’d sent invitations. It was really nifty because I sent some Coffee invitations within the first couple of days of starting to play, and the “suggest a contact” button gave me a couple of completely inactive accounts, so I have these invitations from the very beginning sitting in my messages tab and I could use them to see exactly how long I’d played. (I remember checking back at one point and seeing over 400 days and being mindblown at it having been over a year already.) Did they remove that, or am I looking in the wrong place or something?
Not a question, just a word of hard-won advice that may be useful for newer players. Since the election ended I’ve drawn the Unsigned Message twenty-one times. And zero of those times on my main who needs to overcap to get Courier’s Footprint. The game is trolling me.
The advice is this: if you’ve just overcapped or eaten your entry or otherwise can spare the Notability, or you got to 7 as a newly minted POSI but can regrind back with all the BDR gear you’ve since acquired, go buy yourself a Favourable Circumstance (Lodgings - Write Letters) and hoard it.
(Yes, I know I can buy it for Fate, and normally I would, but I consider this a character-building exercise.)

I hoarded a favourable circumstance for this very reason.
I used it to get ‘Correspondent’ before Time the Healer came to visit… and failed the test.
But yes, I’d agree. Whilst N7 looks high, it ain’t a patch on N15, and having the ability to say ‘yes I am there, I want to overcap now before I lose notability/making waves again’ is delicious.
I’m kind of tired of City Vices cards. Are any of the 4 or 5 star lodgings considered a Remote Address?
They’re all three card Lodgings - it’s a trade-off for pruning your deck a bit more. If your playstyle doesn’t typically save cards in your hand then it’s probably worthwhile, or if you really need to find a specific card in a hurry.
That is unfortunate. I have 2 of the Mood cards(I got them last month!!!) and I am saving them. So 3 card decks would suck. It is rather odd though. I got no City Vices cards for the longest time but since the election I have got a ton, earlier I had 3 in a row! Guess I have to live with it.

Yeah, my alt was getting tons of city vices, hasn’t been getting a lot for a while. Chance is weird.
