Board your ship and Hunt the Beasts of the Zee to escort it to the Gant Pole.
You need at least 1 point of Base Monstrous Anatomy.
I wonder if we’ll get a tie-in with Firmament chapter 2?

Hell yeeahhhhhh, more zee/MA activities let’s goooooooo! Lots of those lately, now that I think about it(although I’m not complaining).
I like these events, but it would be nice to also have variations with other advanced stats, such as something in Parabola, or why not repairing a correspondence-altered block, etc…
Well yes, that would be very nice, too, I just particularly like MA.
A periodic fleshcrafting competition to use Shapeling Arts? Create disturbingly organic sculptures to astound and horrify your neighbors?
Or a debate competition sponsored by the Jovial Contrarian
…someone should make a thread out of this. cracks fingers
But how many fingers?
As many as needed
(“I don’t think boomerang is coming back, toph”)
Ohh I don’t have at least one point of MA without enhancements. Aw.
I’m up to 22 Pursuit and the end seems nowhere in sight. Does this go on until some outlandishly high Pursuit number is reached?
You should have got “End your guidance of the Midnight Whale” at 11 Pursuit. That is the option that concludes the hunt.
So far no Firmament tie-in. Mebbe for the concluding snippet.
I have the “End your guidance” storylet, but the text reads more as though you’re dropping out for other reasons, not that the hunt is over. Guess I forgot how it read the last time. Thanks.
Filler event and a prelude to the next major event on the calendar.
Docking at the (currently) nearby Polythreme to reset Troubled Waters might be a good choice.
Steppes waters might be fierce. I failed Zeefaring challenge once with 80% success chance. The RNG gods might be unkind.
Docking at the Khanate is an even better idea, because it’s in the same location as opposed to one up the current, and can be accessed by anyone who at one point had a Salt Steppe Atlas.
I can understand your confusion but this is a World Event. There is only one Midnight Whale and everyone is chasing it to its destination!
A nice mid-game training session for grinding Dangerous attribute and stockpiling resources.
I jacked up my MA in Parabola, whoo! Time to see if I can join in!
I can’t see any useful trades for an ungodly quantity of primordial shrieks. I assume just selling them to the Bazaar’s the best return here?
