Virginia has a response to the critique that she is, as a Devil, inherently untrustworthy (care of her new 10-Reputation option). I’ve only drawn her once and cannot confirm whether we’ll have another 70-Reputation multi-episode Hellish extravaganza.
I admit that I am dissapointed by the lack of extra Flash Lay lore. If I am not mistaken, they were the turning point - when more London revelations came to light. And as it is, both Plenty and Soshana need some more fleshing out of their motives.
So now we have to wait for the cards again? Or am I missing something?
I think so, from what i’ve gathered each candidate card has a new option about "Entanglements" which expand their lore somewhat.
If anybody has taken one of these options and has more information i would also be glad to hear about it. I am waiting for virginias and have yet to use the option on the others. edited by Severinus on 7/22/2019

It’s especially strange since each of the confidences the candidates give reveals a great deal, in my opinion, about their plans.

That honestly disappoints me too. All three candidates are interesting characters; I really wanted more lore on Shoshana’s campaign (might even be enough to get my character - who otherwise has infernal sympathies - to flip to support her!), and insights on what Plenty is actually up to.
The point of further lore should be to get you in a bit of a doubt - are you doing the right thing? If news are only revealed on your candidate’s card you are unlikely to change.
Plus there is not much else to spend reputation on. Which means that for most of us, once we draw our candidate’s card, there is not much to do in the second week.
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but all of them seems to be “gloves”! :) edited by ElizabethLynn on 7/22/2019
Definitely picking Shoshana - that tarot deck looks awesome!
…you know what, I haven’t seen a single offer either of bribery or of offer to accept a bribe yet.
In the spirit of previous elections, and since I have now got the rubbery gloves I craved, does anyone want to make me an offer?
Shoshana for fifty coins?
As someone did ask about mechanics earlier, I think there is one point of mechanics I would like to discuss.
What do you suppose the factions will be for the mayoral card with each candidate? My own assumption is that Virginia be hell (helping her) or the church (working against her), with Soshana and Plenty both being Bohemian for helping because they are after all carnies, but different hindering factions… I’m just not sure who exactly.
It is also possible that the Constables will like Plenty, or that they will hate her because like the Jovial Contrarian she is trying to control the constabulary.
D’you have a better one?
Hardly. I don’t particularly care who you vote for and I certainly wouldn’t pay you anything. However, when I consider a scenario where I myself were to pledge my vote for payment, an offer that paltry wouldn’t even move the needle, let alone seal the deal.
…alas for days of former glory! Alas for days of red-faced, passionate quarrels, knock-down brawls of wordsmithing, the chaotic desire of My Candidate to Win At All Costs, may the Neath be damned!

There seems a certain lassitude, is what.
I’m sure you can find them in the appropriate in-character threads.
