The London Horticultural Show is here!

Hehe, I’m referring to that very spreadsheet.

Some of the info is quite befuddling for now. And those opportunity cards, do they appear anywhere or only at a specific location? I presume cards are much less of an action burn than some of the other options.

Yes. It’s got a new option for looking at the False stars (Sorry I forgot to check what it called itself. I auto-clicked it)

New rewards options. Has anyone taken the Amber option yet? It sounds like it might have a unique reward.

I’m not so sure. Sounds to me like just an assortment of different types.

Uhu, thanks for your contribution!

Beneath the loam - Spite, Descend to the Underclay Quarter. Chose any, then wrap up 100 convincing falsehoods

Also, there’s an experiment in the lab.. Doing it right now.

I swear an experiment was the first thing I looked for. Not sure how I missed that.

Based on the unlock conditions, I think the lab experiment wasn’t actually visible until a different clue was discovered.

Which… has implications for places that have already been checked.

Semi related to the event:

  1. Does Evolution take me to Godfall or do I need to do something else before?
  2. Considering I only finished part 1, how many AP do you need to get to Iremi? I checked the requirements and I’m only missing the Tentacle key.

My plan is to get all the possible clues before and leave the piracy and Godfall while I’m trying to finish Evolution

  1. Evolution does take you to Godfall about halfway through the story, but you can go there regardless of where you are in Evolution.
  2. Quite a few, I’d estimate a minimum of 200 AP ,if you happen to already have all the necessary resources. I think you missed something in checking the requirements for Irem, namely having done the story all the way to its end, not just started it (tracked by a quality named “Acquaintance with the Youthful Naturalist” or something like that). If I remember correctly it is the only permanent Evolution-related location that actually requires advancing the story to access.

Piracy and Godfall are about halfway through the story, so I’d say a minimum 100 AP to reach those sections.

If you’re short 1-2 hints of your target you could just do piracy and Godfall unconnected to Evolution.

So only 200 AP to get to Irem and maybe a few dozen to finish it and get the clue? That sounds more than great!

I’m not missing hints, but trying to get all 20 this year because of my LF ambition! I do need to play Written in Glim (should be less than a day), get the rest of the cluse + Tentacle key (maybe another day) and, finally, carry on with Evolution, get the two adjacent clues, reach Irem, finish the story, get a fancy new destiny and get the clue!

Many thanks for the encouraging message!

EDIT: Well have a go at the carousel in Cecil because that’s where’s another clue, but you need the Naturalist’s Map from Evolution! Only 1 clue remains hidden.

As far as hint-maxing goes I have a problem, I’ve kinda ignored the boarding house so far since I figured it was lowbie content, and getting the hint there requires concluding a story that apparently takes a minimum of three or four real weeks to finish. How long is this event meant to run again?

You do need at least one Rubbery Favour to play said option. As I just found out after finally drawing it while taking care of other, more-action intensive hints.

According to the sheet players have checked the coils of the Labyrinth of Tiger, but has anybody tried breeding a Rubbery Hound?

Likely less than 3-4 weeks, unfortunately. It seems to be pretty fast-paced so far.

I’m worried I won’t be able to get all the clues I want! The pace is just one event after the other, and now that we have something I’m actually enjoying doing with the treasure hunt it’s still going at the same pace.

Oh man, this is a bad time to be in the middle of working on an Impossible Theorum in the Lab.

I saw that there was supposed to be a hint in Helicon House, and in Viric Jungle. But I explored both as thoroughly as I could, and there was nothing in either place. Does the Helicon hint require that you have that Fate-locked item that unlocks the Garden? The hint here said “Downstairs” which is not a location in Helicon; there is “Below-Stairs”, which is red science themed, but had nothing relating to this event for me.

Similarly, I couldn’t find the Viscountess in Viric Jungle at all. I checked Waswood as well, but the past election I can currently check in on is not the one she was involved in.

I’m out of actions for now, but I guess I’ll head to zee later on and see what I can find. Hopefully people won’t drive the event to a conclusion so quickly that I don’t have time to figure anything out.

Helicon House requires you to take the Admiralty guest as your companion when you enter, go below stairs when you’ve got 5-ish fitting in, and have Shapeling Studies (there might be another requirement but I met everything but the Studies and don’t have the warm amber for that!).

I too see nothing in the Viric Jungle - I’m assuming it requires Parabolan War to unlock, although it’s possibly airs related?

And the Waswood’s Ambition Light Fingered locked.

Well, it does feel natural that there’d be a certain sense of urgency about all this. It wouldn’t really make sense to dawdle and let things drag on.
