Hello, delicious new friends! It’s wonderful to meet you all!

I go by 3Squirrels (or some variant thereof) out here in internet land; in reality I’m a night shift RN who uses browser games to get through the dull ends of long, long shifts. I’ve been in Fallen London since it was the Echo Bazaar on and off for years now, though my current character of choice is Eddy Gale, a cracksman and conjurer of mysterious and indistinct gender. Eddy’s currently making their way through a bunch of different storylines and the Light Fingers ambition - and if it weren’t for the fact they just got booted from the university, they’d be farther than they are!

I like reading, writing, collecting comics, and generalized internet shenanigans in my spare time. Oh, and video games.

Evening, all!

I love the character-driven playstyle that Fallen London permits, so I have a main (same name as on here) and six alters, each of which I play at leisure. They all have a significant backstory and very distinctive personality traits, which allows me to be as much of a completionist as my heart desires (and, of course, I’m doing all four ‘proper’ Ambitions, including HD).

I’ve been playing since January and have recently hit POSI on my main, which is fun - I’m so glad I didn’t take it up back when it was still Echo Bazaar and become disillusioned by the level cap, because now there’s just an incredible amount to do! Also, I can’t wait to explore Seeking Mr. Eaten’s Name when it returns - it sounds horrifying and mystifying and all-around a brutal, beautiful experience. :P

IRL I’m a secondary school graduate who finds out whether she got into Oxford University to study Philosophy and French in . . . ten days, oh my God. I’m a total commie. I’m a bit of a hedonist (not quite a Nigel Overstreet, though!) and a party person. I’m autistic. And I like interactive fiction!

Haven’t yet really explored the social aspect of the game, because I have a few meatspace friends who play and we tend to just trade requests and things with each other, but I’d love to get to know some of you wonderful people. Send me a calling card if you fancy, and just ask if you want to know anything about my alts!

Hi all, I’m EdieErroneous (here and in the game as well) - I’ve been playing for about 17 months and am just at the point of needing and wanting some Neathy friends! I love this game so much but even after all this time, reaching the current limit of my Ambition, and getting up in the 100s for my Qualities, I don’t have a very good handle on what the story is or even how much of the game even functions. Hey there! Long-time lurker finally poking my head in here. Out of game I go by Arc; in game I… well, I spend too much time in game, for one, Melinoe is a PoSI with the Heart’s Desire ambition and I’m thinking about picking up an alt to try another.

Hey everyone! I’ve been playing FL for a few months (I think) but haven’t bothered to make a forum account until now.
Out of game, you can call me Kestrel, as in the bird. In game, my forum name and IGN are the same for now, but I basically just decided to name my character Iris Masters. (Clever reference, or too generic?)
Iris is on her way to becoming a PoSI (I may buy fate to speed the process up). She has the Heart’s Desire ambition; her main skills are Watchful and Persuasive. Thanks to FL’s awesome, decidedly un-Victorian gender equality, she is well-known as a professor at the University, as a society lady/writer/composer at the Traitor Empress’s court, and as a persuasive performer at Mahogany Hall.
I hope to make some delicious friends in game!

I have been playing Fallen London habitually for over a year but never got involved in the community because I avoid internet people like a plague (they are one). But such wonderful things are meant to be shared.

I enjoy: freedom, dreamsies, music of the dancing varieties, introspection, the Mirror-Marches, record-collection, Haruki Murakami, music of the rapping varieties, manual labor, solitude, cities, forests, fistfights, helping people, surface prisoner’s-honey, fat girls, expensive food, expensive clothes, music of the droning varieties, weird games, high fantasy, imaginary friends, the colors red and brown, &quotmodern&quot ‘art’, tenderness, existence, and non-existence.

I very much dislike: fake socialites, cheap food, duality, TV, obnoxious love songs, seriousness withdrawals, and anyone who think they know what’s up.

My private obsessions are: the music of Actress, ambiguity, the name Audrey, contradiction, And the Chamois.

Hello all!

I’m VarietyShow, and while I’ve been sort-of avoiding the forums until now, I’ve been playing Fallen London for about seven months now as Var Sheridan.
Probably the only notable thing about myself as a player is that I made my account in 2011 (I think?), left it there, and didn’t play at all for an entire four years before deciding to give things another go. As a result Var ended up going through a weird chimaera version of the new and old starting scenarios, and ended up with two Mysterious Benefactors as a result.
As for Var, they’re a Correspondent with the Nemesis ambition, and a destiny they absolutely hate (but which I refuse to change, because I’m mean). They don’t remember much of their past before the Neath, but aren’t unduly bothered by it, aside from bearing a grudge towards the one responsible for the murder of their brother. (Now, their future, on the other hand, is an entirely different matter…)

I’m very fond of writing, though motivation/discipline is thin on the ground at the moment. Mostly I’m been tipping away at a roleplay/liveblogging tumblr for Var at the moment, though I have a number of other fandoms I should be writing fic for. Other than that I enjoy reading, playing video games, and media analysis, and I get involved with social activism when my energy levels permit.

I’m also a recent graduate of a university course involving a combination of German and Russian language, International Relations, and European History. Playing Fallen London and getting involved in roleplaying my Fallen London character has been keeping my spirits up while I search for a job, which is obviously a good thing.

Hi, I’m Kukapetal. My friend talked me into giving this game a try about a month ago, and i decided to play a bit to humor her. Now I’m addicted to the point where seeing a full candle gets me a little TOO excited :P

I roleplay two characters: the insane Flesh-Stick, who screams every random thought that pops into his head, and the reserved Lord Alaric, who finds living in Fallen London a string of painful humiliations and considers you all ruffians for being better at it than he is. If you message either of them you will get a reply in character, and they are not guaranteed to be flattering…or even coherent. You’ve been warned :P

That said, I do love to roleplay, so if you don’t mind chatting with a cranky old man or a screaming lunatic, feel free to drop either character a line.

They call me Cuban Pete, your friendly neighborhood journalist from the West Indies. I like to meander through the streets of Ladybones and Veilgarden, enjoying the exotic magic and mystery that the Neath Offers.

When I am not lurking about Ladybones and the Palace for juicy gossip, I might instead be dealing in Rubbery shenanigans as The Octopus an indivdual of questionable sanity and gender with a fascination for things most ancient. He (or she) is often exploring the Unterzee or the Forgotten Quarter for tattered secrets about previous cities on behalf of a certain geographic society. Just avoid bringing up Plated Seals, that incident at the Opera House, or his pet theories on the Eighth City.
