Haaaaaaay, I guess I should post here too. Made my first account last year but for some strange reason didn’t play much. Later rediscovered Fallen London this year while locked in a mental hospital by court order. Playing FL made everything better by +10CP.

Good morning, afternoon or night; whatever :). I’m Matías Rabal, a 23 year old Argentinian guy who don’t spend his time much in forums; but likes games like Fallen London a lot. I’m currently a student ( ten subjects left to be properly called a Professor) of English, and Fallen London has helped me with vocabulary and grammar issues (though I still don’t like grammar :p ) and of course to broaden my imagination as well ;) I now think that I may have already presented myself on another ocassion (you see it happened to me several times for my liking -possibly a consequence of not spending much time on the forums- that after writing the introduction post, it gets deleted due to system crash, internet connection or whatever, so just in case here I am once again ;) ) I am playing (for nearly 2 years now I think) a character who goes by the name of Valquinn, who is a person of some importance who already has a ship (and has been a couple of times in the Iron Republic as well as several times in Polythreme and all of the islands that are currently available), has an artist’s model for a spouse, a clay sedan chair for a mean of transportation… and very few qualms in having done what was necessary (steal, kill , Permanently kill, deceive, betray or worse) to get to what he is now. He is currently looking for a place in the Parthenaeum and also for a Gang of Hoodlums… as well of other adventures; but the Knife And Candle game hasn’t managed to appeal to him so much thus far… he prefers to kill not for the sake of a game, of for revenge or even for profit… just does so if his mind commands it … (after so much instances of insanity and death and exiles who can blame him ? ;) ) But he is also a cultured smart guy who apreciates knowledge and discovery… and of course, "culture" hehe. Anyone who want to add me, feel free to do so… your generosity WILL be remembered… and your hostility POSSIBLY will not ;)

I am yet another new player. I am a regular on a quite different MMO, “Kingdom of Loathing”, which has the common ground of surreal humor. I am a fan of Gaiman’s fiction, of the League of Gentlemen, of Sherlock Holmes stories both by Doyle and a few modern writers, of HP Lovecraft (and the tabletop game inspired by his stories), and Girl Genius.
Other interests include languages and linguistics, religion and mythology, and social issues such as the tension between Victorian English and progressive modern views of gender and ancestry.

Good afternoon, my fine fellows. My name is, unfortunately, rather sensitive information. Instead, I welcome you all to think of me as the… Well, I suppose the Traintop Stowaway will do.[li]
I am evidently seen to be a rather shadowy and dangerous woman, although I find this reputation to be unjustifiably skewed. I prefer to see myself as a Jack - or would that be Jill, in this case? - of All Trades, open to engage in business of all sorts. It is only coincidence that more of this business is of debatable legality than it is not.
My hobbies? Well, I would say I spend quite a bit of my spare time reading tales of speculation - I believe they are calling it science fiction nowadays - both grounded and fanciful and have a fondness of moving pictures of the orient, be they drawn or derived from the living world. Imagined investigation of dragon-housing dungeons and the mysteries surrounding the Great Old Ones is also an occasional pastime of mine.
I believe that is enough chattering about myself for now. Should any of you have need of my assistance or company, I welcome you to drop me a line.

Good evening, delicious fellow residents. I am known as Tani- the rest of my name remains behind beyond the Orient. I am known as a midnight, sinister and breathtaking lady, although the only one I am certain about is the last- unless the first refers to the hours I keep. [li]
My hobbies? I enjoy reading tales of terror- the more toe curling the better, tales of fantastic lands, creatures and occurrences, of unrealistic scientific ventures and (perhaps incongruously) of animals. I am a frequent audience at the music halls, where I hope to someday perform- if I can pluck up the courage to ask. Until then, I’ll just keep practicing. For those who wish to pay me a visit, my residence can easily be told by the large number of animals- and one Singular Plant- as well as the occasional urchin who have also made it their home. It is rather difficult to say no to them, you see, and they act as a very effective deterrent towards unsavoury characters who may not have the same respect as they do for my property. If you can get past them, do drop by. I always welcome visitors.
