Yup…and what you mean by “give the Moon League a whirl”?
It’s another way of saying give it a try.
Ah, sorry it’s that I am from South America so some english slang gets past me, and I wasn’t intending to leave, not at all :)
Ah~ yeah, slang can be a bit rough at times. Have fun. ^^
Yeah, what Sara said. It’s not an allusion to a complicated game mechanism, I swear.
I hope you have fun carving up your fellow citizens!

I find it fantastic that FL has all these players who don’t bear English as their first language. I’m curious to know what you all think of the modern and older English speech used in the game.

It would be a fantastic addition if only people active within the last [reasonable time-period] were displayed on the ‘available’ list for the moon league.
To be fair, they have to have been active within the last week to be on the moon league roster. It’s not like they can just be idle from months ago. It wasn’t a thing months ago.
I was thinking about this too, the other day.
But it gets a bit Big Brotherish when you start to show when people played their last action (or have a more imprecise list of people having played an action in the last x hours).
It’d be nice if there were a penalty for being AFK too long. Say, if you don’t respond to your opponent in 24 hours, they just get to attack. If you plan to not check in for 24 hours or more, it’s easy to just leave London or abandon your form. It’s just really irritating for the league to have lots of people who don’t respond for such a long time, especially when you spend items on a gambit.

I’m not sure that’s relevant. It’s not like it would be sinister in any way?
If you withdraw from a duel, do both players reset their Form before they’re valid targets again? In that case, it seems like a perpetually AFK player would only ruin one duel.
(But I sort of see the point in not going through with duels you’ve been challenged to, since the attacker still seems to have a pretty big advantage.)
I keep hearing about how people are being challenged and those challenges go unanswered, but I was wondering why no one had challenged me yet in the Moon League. My name has appeared on the rosters a number of times so I thought to just wait for someone to step up and challenge me but have gotten nothing for days. Is this normal?
Also, do you hear about challenges in the message tab?

You do receive challenges in the messages tab. I also get emailed about them.
I believe there is a bug which causes people not to display despite their availability. A friend of mine and I were unable to see each other yesterday despite both being available and I have another friend who I can see from my character while mine cannot be seen from his.

Owen Wulf - Are you stuck formless? That would preclude anyone being able to challenge you.
You might also check to see if you have the quality "You are Locked in a Hunt" in your Story qualities. That would indicate if you are currently in an active challenge, possibly from someone not on your friends list?
Otherwise, BUG REPORT! :D

Until now you were appearing in my contacts list only as "owen wulf old". I added "Owen Wulf" and got the message "You have added Owen Wulfson (Owen Wulf in Fallen London). So it’s possible that, for whatever reason, you were not getting challenges because you were not properly listed in the SN system and thus not appearing on people’s lists of potential challengers.
It figures. Not an hour after obtaining my own Knife, it was stolen by one “Sasha Grahovac”. Sasha, may many sharp knives find their way into your torso in the near future.
But our targets only get one move, not two? It’s attacker move, target move, attacker move and then immediate attack is available? (If this is a bug I will make it up to the two people I just beat.)
Well, at the same time you have to remember that in the Iron/Bronze Leagues defenders get no chance to do anything, so in the Moon League at least they can prepare for an attack or just withdraw. The new gambits coming out will probably give more defensive options.

I just wanted to be sure that any advantage was by design.
Hmmm, which form is better, Egg Imponderable or Night-lamp?
