Two trips to the Nadir, 0 catafalquerie cards. Thankfully some other nice cards made the trips worthwhile, but I am looking forward to getting the card. There’s a new feature on cards showing “frequency” & I’d like to tell ya’all what it says.
I saw The Catafalquerie last time, and it has a VeryInfrequent frequency. And my Extraordinary Implications remained unchanged at 2 when I opened the empty casket. So that was a waste of ‘luck’. But the next card I got was my new favourite, The end of battles (Standard frequency), which gave me another bottle of airag.
I agree with “The End of Battles” card being fantastic since it keeps giving me Searing Enigmas. I like the “Losing” card too since I get uncanny incunabulums which I can convert to searing enigmas. I finally got the catafalquerie card, spent my lacre on a tear, but feel kind of empty since the other cards were pretty useless, and I spent a lot of fate to return to the cave right away. Since I haven’t figured out which 5 card lodging to focus on, it seems like the cave is telling me to crank enigmas into an impossible theorem. Yes, I’m listening to a cave. Bad things happen when I don’t.
I am going to be grateful for the rarity of the Catafalquerie card because it only showed up once for me in 3 trips, i soent my lacre on a Tear of the Bazaar, then made sure I had enough snow/lacre for another trip. Vut before I could return to the Cave, I found out lacre could help me get a 5 card lodging, which is the only reason I wanted a Tear of the Bazaar anyway! I wiuld have cried a lot if I missed out by getting the Catafalquerie card so often I spent all my lacre.
I feel the need to follow up about the new Nadir Amber card, because what just got posted on the wiki excites me more than it should. It appears that the 8th-tier Amber item, traded for 5 Fecund, is
a Fluke-Core.

Can anyone tell me what the frequency for the amber card is? I haven’t seen it once since I first reported on it weeks ago.
