Yes, the random option always increases Bizarre.
Yes, the random option always increases Bizarre.
Yeah, well, I asked because I wasn’t entirely sure. So thanks for all the replies! :)
ETA: Has anyone Entreated her to return to Clathermont and echoed the text? I’d love to see it, but am not game to click it.
As it turns out, one can still do this after getting a tattoo. And while I’m curious about what she might say, I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t do it, and it wouldn’t be in character for me to ask her to even consider it. She’s obviously way out of his league now.
EDIT: Thanks, Snowskeeper! :)

Hmm…I wonder…
I like that idea of the Correspondence (though I’ll have to spend quite a while in the Forgotten Quarter trying to raise Scholar now–I’m at 5 and need 10), but I’m also intrigued by what I hear of certain Ambitions that remain an Enigma. I don’t want spoilers, but: if I have not yet accepted Mr. Inch’s letter, do I have time to seek out the clues before the parlor closes? (I know where I have to start, I just don’t know how long it would take me to get to that point AND puzzle out the riddles.)
Of course, after asking about Lilac continuing to show up, I got here card on three straight draws. After, of course, I had concluded my business with her… Oh, RNG, you tease you…

Does anyone know if the Lilac card will continue to show up after you do the Love and Tattoos content? I am trying to work out if I should cash in my gifts with the card I have now, or start the tattoo story on my main.
Is that aimed at me, Ocelot? If so, I’m aware. I just don’t think there’s any other particular one Seeker would go for; hence, letting the RNG decide.
Yes, it does. I got it not long after Augusta acquired her Invisible City.
Has anyone echoed answers to “Love is Light” or “There are many kinds of love…”?
I did "Love is Light", give me a few minutes to find the link.
EDIT: Well, "Love is Life", as it happens.

I was very pleased to see an option to remain untattooed, but still gain something by that choice. It can be discouraging to have to choose between mechanical advantage and staying true to myself (or in this case, my imaginary Fallen Londoner alter-ego). I’ve never particularly cared for tattoos. I wanted a point of Bizarre, and was tempted to finally get that Ubergoat and get the matching tattoo…but ultimately, I’d rather remain unmarked. Respectable is the stat I need raised the least, but it’s still nice to have a little that’s permanent, and it will help with Notability just as much as Bizarre would have. Thanks for that, Failbetter.
I’ve got "There are many kinds of love". And "Love is light", but Flipz covered that.
Juniper has. No effect, positive or negative.
Well, I had a similar problem, and dribbled it getting an invisible tattoo. (Well, actually a tattoo of an Invisible City, but isn’t that omre or less the same? XD). Personally I interpret it as a tattoo that only other player characters can see; Millicent herself had to draw it entirely by memory (yes, she’s THAT good) :)
Does “Your Own Name” give Dreaded or Bizarre? Or neither?
It should be Bizarre. Invisible City gives Bizarre too, thought they don’t state it in the storylet. Also, every tattoo obtained randomly gives Bizarre too, despite the tattoo.

Is the option to get a tattoo going to disappear after the Feast? I mean if you’ve progressed the story far enough to be offered one, can you just just leave it there and choose later?
Because I’m tempted to leave it alone until Seeking comes back and maybe get the Name later on - if only to see just how much it would ruin me.
But if we know that it’s only for the Feast I might pick another one.
Millicent will be around for a couple of weeks after the Feast, and will return at some other seasonal events, as well as future Feasts.
