For journals, I think it would be nice if it was easier to organize echoes? 'slike, I don’t have as much as I’m sure others do (about 710 Echoes), but going back and trying to find a specific echo presents…challenges. If there was a tagging system, or a date system, I think it might be easier to find things and interact with them. Right now I think you just have to save the permalinks to get to an Echo, right?
Seconding this! It would be very nice to arrange echoes in various categories, and maybe add a little text/icon for each one. Something akin to Deviantart collections.
This way one could have, for example, a collection of snippets regarding the Stravelling Cat, one about Bazaar-related informations, one about their ambition…
A thumbnail, then? There’s always an icon when we do echo something to the journals, so it make sense to have that accompany echoes.

It’s a boring day in my office, so I did a quick mockup.
So, here’s my idea for the main profile page:

You can create a new chapter clicking the + icon. Every chapter can have a name, a thumbnail, and a brief description.
Echoes can be dragged and dropped into a chapter. Unassigned echoes remain in the list below.
When you click on a chapter icon, this happens:

Here you can read all the echoes in a chapter. You can also tear a page from a chapter, to return an echo to the &quotscrambled page&quot list.

Sorry if I went a little off topic.

Is it a workable programme/application or is it just an initial design?
Just a quick Photoshop sketch, a workable system would involve doing magic with PHP and Javascript and other languages beyond my comprehension. No clue if this can be made into an extention, I fear it revolves too much about server-side informations.
