I think it might be a list of everyone who has the 4th candle, but I’m not entirely sure. Seems too short to encompass everyone.

Which is why I’m using past tense. I thought that, but was quickly proven wrong. Now I don’t know what qualifies you for it. I’m not even entirely sure when that list was written up considering it contains someone who gave up the search. Regardless, I’m sure something terrible and social is soon to be in store for us. Exciting!

Ok i figured i might share this.
I decided to send the message “What happens if we go south?” to Mr.Emptiness.
I actuly got a reply.
" SevenxSeven " was the reply. It was in numbers so i cant post it here.
Could 49 be the number of material?

Yes, I have the fourth candle only and am at roman numeral V in the search.
Whether 49 is important or not in this particular instance depends on whether we need precision or simply the right quantity. If it’s the former then we might want to consider it. If it’s the latter then the required amount is probably much higher. It seems to imply that precision is key, but testing a larger number first might be a better idea to start with.

Its either 49 or Seven, seven times. Actuly that might be what "SevenXSeven" means…[li]
I hope we don’t need seven sevens of Proscribed Material. We’d be at this forever if we needed that much.
They might open a storylet for grinding proscribed material. I think we should start with Seven material and then go upwards. Adding more sevens. And also trying 49.[li]
In fairness, it probably isn’t seven sevens of Proscribed Material, as the sale value on that would be almost two Hesperidean Ciders.
It’s probably something like five sevens. That’s a large amount, but it’s doable. I guess one person can start working on getting to there while others test the lower numbers?
Edit: I’d volunteer for it personally, but my Seeker isn’t in any condition to be efficiently grinding that stuff. Nor the other thing for that matter.
