I don’t really know enough about the event to answer procedural questions, but if worst comes to worst, pull me out of Kitten’s group and put the last registrees under me. I think I have a whip around here somewhere…

I know that is the best way. My time the healer will come Nov. 30th with my local time or 29th with GMT. So I will be one of the last ones to get the cards. That was one of the reasons I spent extra actions to tell my gruop. Also letters stay in messages with what I wrote so they can go back and see the list and preferences other peoples. If I wrote with the cards, the content of message would be lost when they accept the card.

@NiteBrite well she(my alt) needs the cards a lot more than me. He(my main) is maxed in three stats and the other one is almost maxed. Worst case scenario I will ask my group to send the cards to her instead of him.

I also don’t know anything more about the event/cards than what this thread says, but if all I have to do is remind 7 players each week to do things, I think I could try doing that instead.

Since you seem to be having a shortage I wouldn’t mind being a leader, but this is my first Sacksmas so I am not sure if I would be the most qualified.

Stat Preference: Most desired is Watchful and least desired is Persuasive. I’ll take anything though.
Time the Healer: Monday. Between 5 PM and 6 PM.
Best time to trade: Whenever is good for me probably. I can make myself available whenever assuming I’m not asleep when the request is sent.

I’d volunteer as a leader but I’d probably botch the job

No that’s optional and has no effect on this event. You do not need to be acquainted to send Sacksmas Cards.

Okay, it is good we don’t have to be acquainted. yeah, I went to check the wiki page first thing. The wording seemed to suggest that way. I was inactive last christmass and this is my second so I got confussed. I probably wouldn’t do any acquainted things with my group.

I haven’t noticed anything I can’t do with plain Contacts that I can do with Acquainted people. I know you have to be Acquainted to pass on Notability, and presumably to start stepping out with someone (be damned odd if you weren’t). Anything else? I stopped sending calling cards when my Influence reached 80, so I can have a little wriggle room. But I have a lot more contacts thanks to Hallowmas.

I have a suggestion. Can you put a link to the profile of each person next to their name on the master list? It will make adding each other as contacts much easier.

This would be ideal Mal, we currently have 12 unclaimed new players plus some people offered to use alts to pad out the numbers if we end up with a partial group which we might.

If you want to, please notify A Falling Kitten that you are leaving to form your own group so they should find a replacement from the unclaimed names on the master list. You can then claim 7 players for your group. That will settle the account of group 7. I made some suggestions about potential leaders and pairings for group 7 earlier, but nothing has been made official yet so don’t feel bound to stick with what I was saying earlier and just pick whoever you want.

Then we just need to decide if we want to make group 8 half alts or wait to see if more people show up to fill it out. The time for finalizing groups grows shorter every passing day haha.
