I’m not entirely certain I could accept any amount of money for ratgame whatsoever without being wracked by immense guilt as I discover I have created a new rat-based method to con people out of their money.
It’s hardly a con. I had the fate laying around from some Nadir stuff, and I’m not using it for anything anytime soon, so either it gathers dust for a while, or I play the game some extra during my lunch hour while I scour the hell zone for one more rat. (No rescue attempts, please. I’m quite comfortable, and carrying 21 royal brew if I get lonesome.)
It is turning out to be devilishly difficult to find a third rat in the Hell Zone. Maybe I would have more if I hadn’t mailed the others to people.[li]

Any new Ratty secrets? Or have you moved on to a different project?
I think I’m going to fiddle about and adjust a few things and maybe add a new card or two a bit later, but I don’t really have any more ideas for anything major.
Oh well, I guess I’ll just enjoy it while I can, then. Which I still am, so that’s a point.

Dood are you aware that "perhaps not"ing out of the double or nothing storylet which you entered through the gambling card causes you to get a crime? this sucks.
Yeah uh i didn’t really want people wandering around with a ton of gamblerats outside of the double-or-nothing game and i can’t disable perhaps-notting out of it
i guess i should probably put a warning in the storylet description that hitting Perhaps Not is a bad idea

It’s like pokemon. Or might be, given I’ve never played and am just guessing what Pokemon is like.
Pokemon generally involves a bit more bloodsport. But I suppose the Official Rat Tournament ™ fills that niche too.
Also! Bonus Prize! I wrote a thing for a friend who was determined to get all the debt. If you get to 150 million Gambling Losses, you get sent to the strange + forbidden Debt Zone.
Now obviously getting to 150 million losses would kind of take a while! so take this access code, which will give you 150 million losses right there and then. Why would you want to do this? I don’t know! But I’m sure someone will.
