Protégés Seeking Patrons (Only protégés need post)

Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed academic looking for a strong disciplinarian hand to explore the realm of Persuasion (a couple of different persiasions, actually). Legendary Charisma seems like a tall order - would gladly settle for Noteworthy Tic Collection or Accomplished Small-Talker - but if you’re out there… well, you could do worse.

Watchful: 81
Shadowy: 52
Dangerous: 39
Persuasive: 66

Willing to juggle fresh produce in return.

Greetings to all those who gather here in the 'Neath.

Having recently found myself at Court and appointed as a member of the Academy, I am now humbly aware of how much refinement my natural talent requires to truly shine. I present myself here for your inspection and instruction in the hopes of making a match with a suitably charismatic or observant Patron. I have had a rather lonely time in this dark world and would adore the opportunity to engage with a wider social circle.

I have currently developed myself to the following degrees:
Watchful: 79
Shadowy: 74
Dangerous: 75
Persuasive: 85

Conversation is my preferred artistic medium, please feel free to collaborate with me.

My sincere greetings, treasure hunters, extraordinary minds, devil admirer and keen eyed raven herder,

I am currently looking for a a dare I say, teacher of the fine art of not getting lost in the forgotten quarters. Shattering forces would also be appreciated, I think I failed to break enough bones lately and some advice on the fine art of sending people to the tomb colonies would be greatly appreciated.

I am an admirer of Neathy delight, honey dream, mushroom wines, scandalous secrets. I’ve been known to patronize devils urchins and bohemians. An amateur zailor and an amateur of fine cuisine.

Watchful : 63
Shadowy : 75
Dangerous : 49
Persuasive : 72

Here’s a riddle in parting. I lust for your treasure, yet your eyes are my only prize, I roam the zee in search of you, yet when you lust for me I am all but invisible, a dawn most resplendent will wake me from my slumber, but beware my acidic wrath.

EDIT: A patron has been found!

[u]To whom it may concern:

It is my great pleasure to put myself forth to be considered for the role of protégé. I myself am described as a captivating and wily lady, and although I am known to associate with respectable and rough alike, I pride myself on adhering strongly to my morals (flexible though they may be).

My qualities, quantified, are as follows:
Watchful - 35
Shadowy - 44
Dangerous - 20
Persuasive - 72

I am particularly hopeful of finding a patron of the Persuasive persuasion, before I focus on other attributes.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Yours,
Kit Foxtrick

P.S. For your entertainment, I wonder if you know my friend?

In the window she sat weeping.
And with each tear her life went seeping.

I’m a faceless husk… no, I’m just not coming up with a different joke for my second post here. I’ve done quite a lot since my first one, and am well on my way to becoming a person of some importance, but two skills remain. I’ve become much more familiar with the Forgotten Quarter, begun an investigation at the University, created some works at the Court, and perhaps most importantly, started hunting the Vake.

The point? After having increased my Watchful to 100 on my own, and Persuasive with help from the Legendary Charisma Diarra, I would like some teaching from a Shattering Force or an Invisible Eminence.

I’m available for (and will request, if you don’t mind) second chances and menace reduction trading, and may occasionally send 10-echo random gifts.

I am seeking a patron of Legendary Charisma or Invisible Eminence to assist in my pursuit of shadowy pleasure.

A riddle for you: The one who invented it doesn’t want it. The one who bought it doesn’t need it. The one who needs it doesn’t know it…

Others are welcome for help elsewise and I’m off the mind of a good deed every so often.
Just don’t send rats or we’re going to have problems.

Hello to all prospective Patrons. I am Mngwa, and still something of a stranger to this strange city of ours. As such, I could use a patron in any of the categories, though I believe that at present an Extraordinary mind would be of most use. My stats are as follows:
Watchful: 35
Shadowy: 12
Dangerous: 10
Persuasive: 11
I am described as an observant and charming lady, and would love to find a patron. I am willing to help my patron in any way that I can!
I can be found here: http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/mngwa

As for riddles, I’m afraid I’m rather rubbish at those. Here is one that I was told lately by a friend, however.
I have a face and hands, but I cannot speak. What am I?

I am wizard96, and I am interested in the unique things of the underworld. whether that be going through dreams of honey, or learning more from those fellows from down below. I am considered both persuasive (34) and shadowy (30), but am fairly unobservant (23), and dangerously undangerous (16). I would appreciate assistance in the fields of observation and DANGER, and would appreciate a patron in either variety.

and im the worst at riddles, and will just pick one you’ve seen a million times, so, ill just skip that.

I am a rather dangerous rat-catcher, but I am aware that brute force cannot always be relied on and I am not exactly a very persuasive being which has proven to be a problem in certain situations I do hope that someone takes interest in me so that I may learn from them, I also have sympathy for Claymen and Rubberies and dislike those who look down on them.

Blythe Grimm could definitely use a Patron, especially a Shattering Force or an Invisible Eminence. They are a mysterious individual with close ties to the Cheesemonger, and an ambition to become a Watcher (and someday a Midnighter). They are generally dispassionate and ruthlessly pragmatic, but not entirely without a heart: they possess an unexplained soft spot for Urchins. And not to worry, betrayal for betrayal’s sake holds no interest for them. After all, having a reputation for being honorable is very useful.

Watchful: 82; Shadowy: 74; Dangerous: 58; Persuasive: 80

Thank you!

As a person with a deep interest in the least known mysteries of London, I would welcome guidance in the ways of an Invisible Eminence. That is not to say I’m not capable of dealing with certain… issues on my own. I am. It cannot be denied, however, that mutual cooperation would turn out to be most beneficial to both sides of this arrangement.

My name is myoubi (a compelling and shrewd individual of mysterious and indistinct gender). I would appreciate a patron of Legendary Charisma or Invisible Eminence. My unbuffed stats are, at writing:

Watchful – 57
Shadowy – 42
Dangerous – 46
Persuasive – 83

About myself: I’m a jack of all trades, master of none (yet) who started by writing poetry in Veilgarden and is currently working on something a little larcenous in the vicinity of the Palace. My profile is here: http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/myoubi

My favourite riddle: I went into the woods and got it, but then I couldn’t find it, so I left it there and brought it home.
(ANSWER: a splinter)

I’m a new player, only been playing a few days, having been attracted to the game after having watched a Let’s Play of Sunless Sea by Splatter Cat. I really like the story/mythos of the games, and would read the fanfiction except for the spoilers.

I’m looking for a Watchfulness or Persuasive patron. My profile is at http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/Matthew~Cline

I am searching for a new patron to teach me the tricks of being Watchful, Shadowy, or Dangerous.

WATCHFUL 84
SHADOWY 78
DANGEROUS 83
PERSUASIVE 107

Greetings all. It has come to my attention that for me to make a name for myself in the neath as a person of some importance, I’ll have to enlist the aid of certain legendary charismas and invisible eminences

My exploits and experiences have given me this

WATCHFUL 47
SHADOWY 41
DANGEROUS 39
PERSUASIVE 80

Eventually I would like to meet some shattering forces and extraordinary minds but my current goals seem to tend to the glitter of social life and the shadowy underbelly beneath it. I tend to associate with devils, urchins and criminals, as they provide entertaining company, something I value quite highly.

My favorite riddle is &quotWhy is a raven like a writing desk?&quot because one might say you could spend an eternity on it and still not figure it out!

I am afraid I have no much to repay other than perhaps the promise of becoming a patron of others as you have done for me, your teachings will not go in vain, I’d say.

Greetings, fellow unfortunate denizens of the Neath. It has recently been suggested that I have caught the eyes of several notable individuals of the Neath, and may shortly myself become a Person of Significant Interest. However, I find myself barred from that esteemed position by certain…deficiencies…in my rather hedonistic character (but not a deficiency of my soul, though if you are indeed soulless I mean no disrespect). I would sincerely appreciate a patron who might be able to assist me in my extraction from this sticky wicket.

My traits, as it stands:

WATCHFUL 80
SHADOWY 78
DANGEROUS 94
PERSUASIVE 110

If you are an Invisible Eminence, or perhaps second-in-importance an Extraordinary Mind (or an Invisible Eminence, Extraordinary Mind, and a Shattering Force), I would most vehemently appreciate your patronage forthwith.

I have no riddle to offer that is not in truth a question of one’s own existence.
