FBG has basically confirmed that it’s impossible. At some point they need to close out/clear all of the holiday-related things, so any Nomen remaining would essentially automelt.
aww. they should have a thing where if you have a noman with 100% enough (like even with max rolls on the nomans friend progress reduction thingy) it should pop a story or something with a full year and thankning you with a quality or special item for the people with the dedication to spend 10k lacre and the required items or whatever.
like it should stop you from adding time or something and say the noman is looking strong / nigh indestructible and auto pop a story at 1 year/ special dates where he says his time has come or something or just stops melting at all
This is the Noman melt rate since Christmas 2023 according to the September 2023 patch notes:
With this decay rate, 10k Lacre wouldn’t be enough to keep the Noman alive for one week in November.
Nobody knows the exact formula, but keeping a Noman alive for a full year would require certainly more than 400k Noman’s Friend, probably much more.
That’s several Millions of € worth of resources, but you would also need to spend a ton of Fate in deck and action refreshes to feed the Noman before it melts.
Note: with the old decay rate before the September 2023 patch, around 18k Noman’s Friend would have been enough to build a year-long Noman. That still requires around 2-3 Ciders worth of materials, plus possibly Fate. And anyway, as mentioned, FBG said multiple times that they need to delete all Nomen before the Neathmas event starts in December.
