There is a non-skeleton making way of getting Warm Amber from the Bone Market; not sure if it’s more or less efficient than the Helicon House route though!
I’m starting to think that the most efficient, non-skeleton-making way of getting Warm Amber might be to zail to Aeschaven and take in the sights over and over, at 20 Warm Amber a pop, though this seems mostly true if you are committed to staying at Aeschaven for quite a while. (60 actions for 1200 Warm Amber, not counting actions taken to zail there and back again.)
I’m probably going to stick to Helicon House either way because it requires the least thinking on my end, but I do want to run the numbers on Warblers since I have a suspicion that hunting them will still be more efficient than building 24 Inspired repeatedly. (Though I did just remember that I still have access to the Court for Inspired… hm.)
I took the Aeschaven path path because sometimes I, the player, simply can’t be bothered to plan anything beyond a 1-action grind.
I’m still a little surprised that Crew is non-exclusive. I can’t be switching out the entire compliment of my zub in the middle of the zee every time I change my pants.
I figure it must be these are members of your crew, singularly or in groups. You got some experienced hands on deck, maybe a few blokes what knows where a cutlass goes, maybe eventually some other guys. Depending on the situation, it’s one or another that’s called upon to handle something.
This interpretation would open up the possibility of individual crew members or officers occupying that slot.
Like, for example, just throwing this out there, oh say, Tatterdemalion. Perhaps. As an example.
One of the many consequences of the equipment changes: an endgame player can now reach 41 BDR without money-locked items to grind Favourable Circumstances.
Also, the new equipment slots are freaking awesome, if nobody noticed. My main character is running around Wolfstack Docks like a drunk, honey-mazed psycopath with his sapphire pendant and a newly raised modified Watchful 247. He just can’t wait to get the crew, too.
Nice to know there is some extra gear to boost your Shadowy. Would have loved to see a +8 Shadowy item there too.
I already have the Semiotic Monocle and a pile of Brass Rings from digging around at the Forgotten Quarter
The only new shop I see in the Bazaar Sidestreets IS the luggage shop Where can I find the new adornment items?
The new Adornments are in a shop in the Bazaar tab, not a storylet in the Sidestreets. It’s called Trompowski et Fils and appears at the bottom of the list.
I did not see that in the list; I’ll look again thanks.
I think it’s actually more like 42 constant / 43 with a boon if one really goes all out and gets stuff like the Saddled Hellworm and the Seven-Fold Knock.
Can I offer the pirate poet as another possible example, if failbutter decides to implement individual craw members?
Hell yeah they are! I don’t have many adornments available ATM, but I can already see the possibilities!
It sure looks like an issue because both Mith and SA are Fate related while the two points that we gained (Glass and Artisan) are free. As many others, I got the Mith ring looking to reach 15 at one moment, I did, I enjoyed using it to make proper chimeras and now that bonus is gone!
I am fine with items getting a free version over the years, but this isn’t the case. My solution to this would be to either exchange the ring of Ha’ppenies or for the sword, while the pendant + ring to be able to… imbue a piece of cloth.
Other than this, I can’t wait to see how tomorrow’s Firament will go!!! Make sure to pack your luggage and recruit your crew!
Got me pirate crew. 62% to hit, luckily got it first roll, didn’t even go to second chance.
Congratulations! Alone at Zee and London, you and I are the honoured ones.
And I got my new Crew. Time to take care of the last few things and then up, up, up!
