That’s completely unexpected… and very much appreciated! Thanks lads!

Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit!
Many thanks, FBG, many thanks for something so unexpected!

Gently echoing everybody above when I say this was extremely unexpected and super welcome! The new content is very cool, adds nice new ways to get otherwise annoying items, and has some very fun text. I am (ofc) still exploring it, but I like it, a lot.

All in all; thank you! This is the most excellent kind of surprise.

I’m dusting off my pith helmet and sharpening my spade! What a wonderful surprise to see this morning! Thank you FBG!

Could everyone post their results? :)

It appears that the 20-Supplies expedition will provide a Searing Enigma.

The Morally Questionable Archeologist?

Expeditions are my favorite repeatable activity in Fallen London, this makes me quite happy. Also I’m rather stoked that my absurd decision to keep my supplies near the cap instead of using them as acquired seems to have paid off!

Tomb of the Silken Thread gave me the following:
One Parabola-Linen Scrap, and one Judgement Egg.

You guys, a Judgement Egg! I honestly wonder if this is a regular result or I got lucky with a Rare Success.
Plus the requisite amount of creepy lore about spiders.

WhooHooo!!!

My results in order (20, 30, 40 supplies):

-1 searing enigma
-1 parabola-linen scrap and 1 judgement egg (!)
-3 night-whispers

I echoed all three as well, in reverse order.

I got from Sanctuary (40 supplies):

A portfolio of souls

Holy crap, these things are lucrative. Possibly too lucrative. I usually do Expeditions when I don’t have anything better to do (I’ve been looking into scripting the more repetitive carousels, but I haven’t heard back from Failbetter on whether it’s okay yet), so I’d be doing this anyway, but this might actually be more profitable than the Affair of the Box.[li]

Not that I sell anything I don’t have at least 2000 of. For good reason: one of the new actions uses an Outlandish Artifact, apparently!

Great news! Thank you, Failbetter. Expeditions are my favorite activity in Fallen London.
