Noted these today. The new boots are wonderfully workaday and look very comfy. Still nothing remotely feminine or elegant though. Even the stylish riding boots have become cumbersome.[li]

The Masterwork Dancing Slippers also seem to have new art.
I’ve updated the wiki with most of these. Thanks for consolidating all the images for ease of access!
For some reason, for a few I see no difference (only the small versions of: fingerless gloves, grey suit, Masterwork Dancing Slippers), despite force refreshing the page, so I’ve not uploaded new version.
I believe the Anarchist’s Sable also has new art.
The slippers were changed after I made that post.
The Ratskin Suit (suitgrey) was different when I posted but seems to have changed back, so I don’t think the update’s done. The other two have changed for me.
The Anarchist’s Sable shares art (shadowysuit) with the Outfit of Black Felt Garments, so they’ve both been updated (also since I posted). Same for the Neddy Suit and Set of Workman’s Clothes (workclothes).

It’s an illusion! It’s because they’re a pair of boots, very close to each other. They look heftier.
(That said, using the same art with a palette swap for very different boots was a little odd…)

I rather liked the old riding boots myself, though it’s been a while since I’ve last worn them. I suppose the artist is going for consistency now; I recall the hobnailed boots did look a bit odd compared to the stylish riding boots, the squeakless boots and the scuffed boots, of which the latter two remain unchanged. (This is unfortunate, unless it’s something temporary; the squeakless boots cost the same as the stylish riding boots and offer a commensurate benefit, so it makes little sense to have them resemble the far cheaper scuffed boots, which are essentially useless and which my character wore at first only because he couldn’t afford anything more expensive and didn’t want to go barefoot.)
On the other hand, I’ve never cared for the iron hat art, and I’ll be glad to see it replaced by the shinier version pictured in this thread. I still see the old version in the game, though the bonnet and shoes have been updated.
Well, that’s funny. Has Nassos Zoologicals always been represented by the Paint-Besplattered Mog? I hadn’t noticed that before (being previously unfamiliar with the card).
Where is my Bejewelled Cane? I can’t find it! Oh, there it is. Why is it no longer blinding me as if I were some sort of butler?
I quite like most of the new art, especially the new gentlemen’s coats. The one instance of the old art that I prefer is the bejewelled cane, as the new one doesn’t seem quite so shiny.

Yes, the picture for Nassos Zoologicals was like that for a while now.
On the topic of the new pictures…they seem good on the big picture but when I put the items on my character it uses a small picture, on the small picture they just luck…can’t really explain it, try putting the Iron hat or the Night trimmed frock coat on and look at it, still, some pictures are still good.
I agree in that it seems less shiny. However, I far prefer this new more slightly subdued affair. I can imagine myself actually using it, unlike that bedazzled pimp ordeal we had previously, haha

I rather thought that was the point of the +1 Bizarre
Next up on Pimp my Landau…‘Yo dawg we heard you liked glim…’
We have a pimp cane, but no one to pimp. New profession, anybody?
Mr Wines is the pimp-daddy, don’t go treading on his toes.

I remember the cane was described as something that would look absolutely garish in sunlight but was just right for the dimness of the Neath. I like to think of the old and new images as representing these two effects respectively.
Since it seems the changes to Bazaar equipment are done for now, here’s the comparison.
Items not in the Bazaar in italics.
Carrow’s Steel
Images: canetasselled, canetasselledred, canetasselledamber, canebling
Items: Tasselled Walking-Stick, Tasselled Sword-Cane, Amber-Topped Walking-Stick, Bejewelled Cane
The Bejewelled Cane isn’t from the Bazaar, but it’s made from a Tasselled Walking-Stick and was updated.
Maywell’s Hattery
Images: bonnet | ironhat
Items: Gay Bonnet | Iron Hat
|
|
The Iron Hat has been changed to match the Gentleman’s Hat and other hats based on it, which were changed a long time ago.
Dark & Savage
Images: fingerless, fingerlessblack | whitegloveblackback, whiteglovepurpleback | blackgloveredback, blackgloveblueback, greenglove
Items: Pair of Cutpurse’s Mittens, Pair of Cracksman’s Mittens | Pair of Magician’s Gloves, Pair of Dancemaster’s Dabs/Pair of Lady’s Lace Gloves | Pair of Knife-and-Candler’s Gloves, Pair of Master Thief’s Hands, Pair of Spiderchitin Gauntlets

The white gloves have only been changed slightly.
"blackglove" isn’t used for these, but it is used for Hastily Scrawled Warning Notes and Master Thief. It started out the same as these older versions, but had been changed earlier to yet another version and now has been changed again with the rest. ("whiteglove" doesn’t even exist.)
Gottery the Outfitter; Dauncey’s
Images: workclothes, suitshadowy, suitgrey, suitwhite | coatgrey, coatblack, blackcoatblueback
Items: Set of Workman’s Clothes/Neddy Suit, Outfit of Black Felt Garments/Anarchist’s Sable, Ratskin Suit, Sumptuous Dandy’s Outfit | Battered Grey Overcoat, Dignified Tailcoat, Night-Trimmed Frock Coat
|
|
"suitbloodstain" (Bloodstained Suit), "suitfaded" (Faded Morning Suit), "suitmorning" (Morning Suit), and "blacksuitblueback" (Distinguished Gentleman’s Outfit) haven’t been changed. The first three already looked more like the new ones than the old, and the last looks like it just hasn’t been updated yet.
MERCURY
Images: bootsbrown, bootsgrey, bootsred, bootsvake | slipperswhite, slippersblackwhiteback, slippersblackgreyback
Items: Pair of Stylish Riding Boots, Pair of Ratskin Boots, Pair of Savage Hob-Nailed Boots, Pair of Vakeskin Boots | Pair of Masterwork Dancing Slippers, Pair of Spidersilk Slippers, Pair of Hushed Spidersilk Slippers/Forgotten Spidersilk Slippers

Unsure on Forgotten Spidersilk Slippers; don’t own them yet, just going by wiki.
"bootsblack" (Pair of Scuffed Boots/Pair of Squeakless Boots) hasn’t been updated yet.
Edit: This should be done now. Unless/until they update some more, such as the Scuffed/Squeakless Boots.

If I were to guess which character would next receive new artwork, I might respond with the Soft-Hearted Widow, rather than the Cheery Man. That said, I think I already like the new version; he looks more ruthless and calculating.
Anarchist’s Sable, Phosphorescent Scarabs & Touching Love Stories now look like this:
Definitely an improvement, especially the TLS!

I’m pretty sure the Anarchist’s Sable change was a few months ago, not recent.
