There’s more to explore when diving, maybe. Talking to the commissioner in Parabola tells more about the Magistracy and seems like it unlocks another room to explore when diving.
There is more! There’s also a use for a certain broken promise.

I’ve been heavily delayed in pursuing Magistracy lore for one simple, joyous reason: I’ve FINALLY found a use for my Winged and Taloned Steed!
Edit: Also wow, the image system is so uncooperative that linking directly from imgur is easier somehow.

Searching the lower floors of the Magistracy brought me a Ring of Stone. Thought those were retired. Oh, well.
Let’s compile all that is to do in Evenlode? I think I’m missing something.
- Spur train line - lets dig some stuff.
- Statue - as usual.
- Cornelius storyline - grind Investigation through cards, 3 times.
3.1 Furnace talk - at London, new option after Cornelius. - Clay Highwayman - from card. Investigate with progress or medium Constables and/or Criminal renown items. Cp based, up to 5.
- Magistracy - click all options to unlock everything.
5.1 Get Dispensations at barracks for favours.
5.2 Reduce your criminal record with dispensations at court. - New constable - choices affect only flavor text. requires Times at Evenlode, 3 times ever increasing. Last time is in the barracks.
- Diving bell - after new constable, area improvement.
7.1 At bottom floor is Light-in-Exile. Can talk several times.
7.2 Talk to Commisiioner in nightmares after that, unlocks another option here.

I haven’t been paying the Efficient Commissioner any visits.
So… some of her lore exposition actually opens up new gameplay content now?
By the way, I have been working on the Wiki - a lot. Can you guys double-check for content?
Especially the content concerning the coppers and magistracy. There are hidden qualities that disable certain options after they have been done, but I don’t know if there are any more.
Please put links to pages with missing content if you noticed any.
I am going to hazard a guess that the submerged Throne Room contains Justificandes.
What the hell.
I have one character who has been holding onto the Velocipede Squad story, just to suppress the cards while maintaining the carousel’s presence.
So, this character hasn’t been getting Favours: Constables (flipping luck of the draw). Thus, I decided that this character is going to conclude that story and use it to get access to the Constabulary content over at the Magistracy.
He can’t. He gets a visit from Jasper and Frank, and has quirk changes, but nothing.
What do I need to do again? Is this some recent change or am I not doing something?

Bit self-referential, but A Winged And Taloned Steed Formerly Mr. Veils is missing the option to ride the Vake out to find fossils, accessible through the usual paleontological card for those of us who won Bag a Legend and spared Curator Veils. I have the success saved on imgur above.
I would like another screenshot, that of the option itself. My Vake-Hunter saved another fragment instead.

No further things from the Commissioner by the way, after your character finds the Cave-Aged Code of Honour.
Nothing new in the Waswood. I was hoping that the Cave-Aged Code of Honour or even the Memory of the Lesser Self might yield something. Nothing new in the Chessboard either; I was hoping that the Cave-Aged Code of Honour may have some remote connection to that.
Nothing new in Jericho Locks; I thought maybe the Gondoliers might want to know something about the waters near the Magistracy, but nadda. Nothing in Ealing Gardens, though that is perhaps expected.
Nothing new in labs, which is perhaps expected.

There is a second item if you choose the dangerous item in the throneroom, instead of the watchful.
It costs 75 last breaths.

Yeah, I saw that one. I have a character that is primed to do that soon.
I think “Memory of much lesser self” will be used in transformation route of final end, judging from description.
That would mean that the player character needs to have gone quite far in the content. That’s a lot to lose in a soft reset.
The Unfinished Clay Men card does not show any new options if you have accumulated the quality that is associated with the Clay Highwayman.
I would like another screenshot, that of the option itself. My Vake-Hunter saved another fragment instead.

Went to bed shortly after you posted, but here’s another imgur link that hopefully works.
Well hey, this is…exactly what we wanted from the new outfit restriction mechanic:
Time for some ‘strategic’ adjustments…lets go diving.
Hah…all the MA boosting stuff conflicts with the best dangerous & watchful. Of course it does!

Yeah, specific, strategic, good reason to be a tight trip.
- I think it’s 3 7 4 0
- there’s one last time, outside, after you have observed the going ons in the courts (which can only be done after the 3rd time, iirc) ; after this the [0] option at the entrance storylet changes
