In general, updates to Fallen London happen around noon BST or GMT (currently, BST). It’s to do with our working hours; these changes are made manually and we like to be around to make sure they play out ok. :)

Thanks, Hannah!
I very nearly killed myself without buying a tiger first. In fact, I was already dead when I noticed. Also why can’t I jump from a bazaar spire again?
Also also are we supposed to have The Dreamer’s Advice already?

I think I am stuck.
I left to grind the maniac’s prayers and now I have no option to ask anyone about past winners. Everyone keeps telling me about their Heart’s Desire and I have no idea where to find Pages. What am I doing wrong?

You can find Mr. Pages in the Bazaar Sidestreets after dismissing him from your lodgings. Hope that helps!

I’m wondering that too. i’d really love to do that option, but i’m unsure if i should proceed or not.
It happens after you beat the third round.
When completed, you get the weapon on my mantelpiece.

I resorted to paying Fate to recover quickly from death and for an unnecessary two Hell favours for it.
When you pressure the opponent in the third round, they evoke the Chance and you can choose between 2 options:. The mind or a "key" stated to give an advantage in a specific menace area.
The record for obtaining the mind here:
https://www.fallenlondon.com/profile/Den%20Blackwell/18390596
It is an Affiliation that gives 1 Shadowy, 1 Bizarre, 1 Dreaded, 1 Mithridacy, and 1 Visiting.
If possible, I would like to know the results of the other option as well, though you have to be absolutely heartless to opt for that.

He is not there, and I am prettu sure the Topsy King has not spoken to me. Could that be a bug?
I am the one trail-blazing for this Ambition on the wiki. I will know if there is The Dreamer’s Advice quality prior to the most-recently implemented part of the Ambition.
Also, the most-recent part of this ambition when the golden apple badge came up was when your character looked for his Amused Lordship. It hasn’t appeared anywhere else prior to the Dreamer’s Advice.
Topsy King will not lend you a top to counter the Manager’s attempt to apply Inception on you.
For the third match, I used the costly-but-awesome Parabolan Chess Army for support if anyone was curious. It’s good to have both the Beleaguered King and the Red-Handed Queen fighting under me for once. I esp. loved it when they fought against Nothing-After-Death.
I also strongly urge others to start stocking up on 15 Nights on the Town or the Making Waves needed to create them, as you will need them soon after.
I think the storylet has recently been taken down for rework. For me, it’s up again, with slightly different lock and unlock conditions now.
UPDATE: In fact, almost all of the "Meet with" storylets have been updated with lock conditions. Only the Monkey’s is unchanged.
So no. In London, Monkey doesn’t train you.

I have harnessed the fire of my dreams to fight for me, and it is both awesome and terrifying.
https://www.fallenlondon.com/profile/Anagram/18393963
there’s also a massive lose of the quality of those dreams.
it appears there is also different flavor text for the fight itself, if anybody is interested.
I have checked the Dome of Scales and Shuttered Palace for perhaps any hidden option to get the assistance of either the dream-snakes or the talking cats against the Manager.
Nope. Failbetter used that one for Ambition: Light Fingers.

YES!!! The showdown with the Manager was awesome beyond words! I also took the Chess Army and the words are so very appropriate to fight a nightmare named Nothing-After-Death:
As someone whose only Lodgings are the three 4-card ones, the Eyrie and a temple in the middle of absolute nowhere I have to wonder how Mr. Pages arranged for my living room to be considered an acceptable building site for a new railway. Especially considering that due to the earlier requirement for a 5-card Lodging, I canonically live in one of them. Pretty sure only one of them is on/under the ground, and that’s on the territory of Hell, because Embassy
https://www.fallenlondon.com/profile/Vladier/18391337 Here’s the result for choosing the Burial of the Dead.
https://www.fallenlondon.com/profile/Vladier/18393739 And here’s the first Nightmare battle.
https://www.fallenlondon.com/profile/Vladier/18393751 And this would be the second battle.

Heh, I am looking at some of youse’ profiles and editing the wiki after I make some extrapolations with them. Thanks, people.
UPDATE: Oh. Oh… I see what you did there, Failbetter. The boatman’s story might be a reference to a certain Discworld story about the cloaked skeleton dude taking a break from his work and another story about this or that civilization having their own tollperson.
UPDATE 2: Failbetter writers, there are more than a few typos, usually from tapping another key that is close to the ones that you actually want, e.g. "it" is written as "if". Burning the midnight oil, maybe?

Look at mine if The need comes. I am not up to speed, but I am recording every single step of the game.
