As the Hallowmass wraps up, I experience a terribly laggy connection to FL server. It seems that all the Fool’s Judgements being passed are taking up a lot of bandwidth.
Yes, it’s cumulative. This year mine raised from 4 (The Four-Eyed Moth) to 5 (The Triple Crown).
I started at Knight of Hallowmas 2, am now level 12 - the Silent Priest. So there’s some data for the Wiki.
Wiki still lacks the info for levels 18, 25, 26, 28, 29… and many higher levels. Something to take note.
Those of you who went with the Baby mask, please do help to update the Wiki, curious to know what the reward Affiliation is.
It’s already there. Just look. Even the card has been recorded already.
The new Affiliation is on the wiki already.

Yeah, it’s quite laggy. Even when clicking on cards.
Is this the first time the mask become unwearable souvenir?
I wonder if the scandal menace would return next year, taking the place of either nightmare or suspicion.
I wonder if the scandal menace would return next year, taking the place of either nightmare or suspicion.
It seems like a reasonable thing to expect. It’s the only affiliation I’m still missing.

Yes. This year is the first time the Masks are something you can actually wear, instead of just qualities. As a result this is also the first time we’re seeing the degraded souvenirs, as well as the Fate-locked permanent versions.
For me it is laggy to the point of being virtually unplayable. I mean, it isn’t actually unplayable, but I simply don’t have the patience to look at a spinning circle for the amount of time the game currently wants me to.

I hope it’ll be something like two years on, one year off, so as the wounds affiliation is the only one I’m still missing! :)

For me it became literally unplayable. Due to some server hiccup while I was zailing I somehow ended up at Zee, but not in any particular zone of the Zee. I couldn’t draw cards, and therefore couldn’t do anything. An email to support straightened it out within minutes, but it was disturbing to be left drifting like that.
Perhaps you found the place that will have been Irem, when it’s implemented.
Well, I did not get to be a knight, but I wasn’t trying that hard and I did have a bad/incorrect/whatever learning start.
I am pretty happy with my rewards, even though I have no idea what to do with tears of the bazaar. I went for the highest value. My alt got the elements and mountain sherds, and a lot of bazaar permits. The Prof got the St Elmo crew, and the alt got the nightmare one, which creeps me out with the Jack the Ripper reference. I suppose that’s only fair for nightmares, though.
I’m really not calculating EPA. If I can advance in my story, that’s the deal for me. The roseate antagonist has now reinforced my base-camp and I can improve my Vake-bomb. To the lab!
I am tempted to get the Element of Dawn, since that’s the only way to grab them without Fate or a very risky Ambition Bag a Legend option
But realistically speaking, how hard is it to grind for Tears of the Bazaar? I looked through the various options and it seems that converting seven Tortoise Airags into one Tears of the Bazaar is the most realistic and sustainable way to obtain one. I got a couple of those from rare Waswood drops.

This actually happened to me a month or two before the new Zeefaring launch. Sounds like they’re updating the under-ocean.
Now there’re four affiliations, perhaps eventually we’d see the fifth. Wondering how would the mask of the pop-song menace looks like. A crowned weasel with hundred tails maybe?

If we go by the old Menace/Confession metrics, then the Inverted Stalactite Society represents Violence, the Bishop’s Table represents Impropriety, the St Elmo represents Guile, and the Order of Those Who Will Not Be Caught Red-Handed represents Curiosity. So, hypothetical future Affiliations might represent Pride and Whimsy, and require turning in combinations of Wounds and Nightmares and of Scandal and Suspicion.
Really not at all – it’s something that goes on in the background. Make sure to upgrade all that Absinthe to Broken Giant, and the BG on to Cellars, then get Airag whenever a certain gentleman comes calling (plus, get Airag in the Nadir or Waswood). Then exchange for tears in due course. I just got my second vial of MB by that route.
