Hallowmas 1898

Ahhh, thanks!

Imgur: The magic of the Internet

Oh, and in the spirit of giving here’s the Countess for anyone interested. She seems a little disorientated by the world not bending to her will.
Where did you find this Fate option, if I’m interpreting this properly?
Oh, rats. Unlike several of the others, the Countess’ upgrade lacks a bump in the quality you’re probably using her for. :(

I see the Countess as a Fate-locked option, but not the Bear. Thanks!
Since it’s my first post on the forum (I’m a very shy person), I’d like to salute all the fellow Londoners and wish you an unforgettable Hallowmas.

I have a confession of Impropriety. I’ll be happy to trade it for one of Whimsy OR of Violence.
There is a separate thread for confession trading; you might have better luck there: https://community.failbettergames.com/topic28168-hallowmas-confession-trading.aspx

Enjoy Hallowmas!

In the Hallowmas thread, there’s an option to acquire the Countess, as well as a few unimproved Hallowmas-only companions (rubbery file, tracklayer, etc–these are all invisible if you already have one).

There’s also a (0-cost) option to talk to the Attendants–this takes you to the menu of companion upgrades, where you can trade confessions for a bear with a top hat, or other companions who are not bears and mostly not wearing top-hats.

Thank you. Have a great Hallowmas!

A very many thanks to FBG staff for giving us a platonic spouse option!

As this is my first Hallomass celebration I find myself in my usual perpetual state of confusion so common for me in Neath.

I currently have 7 mysterious confessions and the option to gain more is now grayed out. Is there a cap on the number of confessions you can posses at any one time?

More Confessions can be gotten later in the week for free. Or you can pay FATE for extra.

Do the new spouses add cards?

The Attendants are the giant space-bats thsemselves, aren’t they?

Anyone knows the stats for the upgraded Debunker?

One of the attendants happens to be one of my companions, and I recognised her beneath the mask.
The Attendants are the giant space-bats thsemselves, aren’t they?
The text for ‘Unburden Yourself to an Attendant’ says that the Attendants are just several citizens who have been chosen for the role. This year the Untried Tracklayer is the Knight of Numbers, the Debonair Palaeontologist is the Silent Shame, and the Rubbery Bellringer is the False Student. It isn’t immediately apparent who the Glasswhisperer is, we know only that the Smiling Jester is tall (and might have a long tongue? Only if that’s not part of the mask), the Hammerstrike is unfamiliar to us, and the Fool’s Apostate is followed by a Storm-bird. The Fool’s Apostate also smell like lilies and frankincense and has long fingers, so make of that what you will.

Would anyone know, or be able to offer an educated guess, if we upgrade the Companions obtained during the Feast (the Paleontologist, the Countess), we’d be able to get the original versions at the next Feast, even for Fate? Asking as a hoard- err, collector… Though I suppose the Dashing Debunker would only be obtained by a replay of the ES…?

We finally get to see the Chap’s face!

I’ve heard you can already reobtain the paleontologist for fate during this festival.

You can reacquire any of them for fate now.

Can someone confirm whether or not the Fate option to attend a lecture on spiritual hygiene is still available from Attract a Visitor at Hallowemas? Been burning actions on Airs and can’t seem to snag my precious Dreadful Surmise yet

Oh right! So actually one could wait until next year for the upgraded versions if that was something one wanted to obtain without losing the originals… hmm… Thanks!
