Why, Wines, of course – and I’d see if I could get a fetching pair of stockings out of the deal.
Where do you go when you honey-dream? If you don’t honey-dream, whyever not?

Where do you go when you honey-dream? If you don’t honey-dream, whyever not?
My last honey-dream, I found myself at a ball in a majestic palace of ice. Everyone waltzed Viennese in the middle of a grand hall surrounded by great, towering columns of snow - still like sentries, smooth like marble. A hundred thousand orbs of phosphorescent beetles – not unlike the buoys that pepper the Zee – warmed the room with a constant glow. I got drunk. There was a great deal of very cold champagne in the fountains, you see.
What do you imagine Devils do with souls?

I don’t need to imagine. I work for them. I know. They extort all the secrets they can out of them, then hand them over to Fallen Londoners.
If you could throw any one NPC in FL into the Zee, which one would it be?
edited by doctor wolfram on 12/18/2014
The Devout Intriguer. The only thing that would give me more joy would be dicing her into chum first and feeding her to a zee-monster. (It is possible I have rather strong feelings about this.)
To whom did you become connected with in the Wars of Illusion: the Glass or the Shroud? Why?
I don’t even know where the Wars of Illusion are. I hear they are in Mahogany Hall, bot not how to bring it about. Thus I know not the difference between Glass and Shroud. Though going by just the names I imagine the glass is not pleasant since I know not all things behind glass are exactly good…
What is your favorite area in our city and why?
The Forgotten Quarter - seeking curios; going on expeditions; recovering for my next visit to the Nadir; Wars of the Assassins. There are just so many things I enjoy doing there :)
Where do you live and and is there anywhere else you would like to live someday?
A small cottage by the Hightower Observatory, designated number 12. As for where else, I would hope to have, at least, a townhouse in a more populous area, for…certain purposes.
What is your favorite memory, from any time and any place?
[Seeker of Names’ quiet voice speaks slowly.] The first time I realised that the particular noises I heard, in that particular order, formed my name.
[DragonRidingSorceress looks bemused.] For me, it was as a child on the Surface. I don’t know if it was the first time I went swimming, but it was the first time I remember. Diving into the silver-blue coolness of the waves, my father hovering close, sticks in my mind to this day. I remember how the water stung my eyes, and I cried… and yet I would not stop. I could not stop. The wonder of it was too great.
What would you do if a cockroach landed on your head?

I’m not going to answer that, but you get bonus points for asking it!

Flick it off…? I somehow get the feeling that I’m being left out of a joke.
Speaking of which, what has been the best joke you’ve heard since coming to London?
Sinning Jenny and a Rubbery Man walk into a bar.
Sinning Jenny says, "What a long day! I need a drink!"
And the Rubbery Man says, "thrrreeeeeeeee umphulummmmmphum!!!"
Ha! Brilliant!![li]
Question: What has been your favorite advent gift so far?
edited by Lady Sapho Byron on 12/19/2014
I’d have to go with the Fourth City Ariag. I had no appropriate gift at a time where I needed one and it really helped smooth over my discussions with a certain king.
I ask the same question: What has been your favorite advent gift so far?
By far my favorite gift has been the rain of snow. It gave me a chance to entertain, and be received by, our lovely hosts, the Masters.
Such lovely chaps, don’t you feel. I think we get along splendidly.
Until the Revolution comes, that is. Then we’ll see what’s what!
If you could start a Neathean fashion trend, what would it be?
Hm, the Neath could do with some colour. Everything is so drab and dreary dont you think? My fashion idea would be luminescent bow-ties to lighten the mood up a little!
Speaking of drab and dreary things, what do you do to lighten up your mood after a long day of looking into the abyss?
(DragonRidingSorceress speaks.) I take up my pen and write. Whether I write something joyous, to distract myself, or spill out my dark, disturbing discoveries, I find the quiet scratch of quill on paper soothing for my nerves.
Yes, quill. I know it is somewhat old-fashioned, but I like the feeling of sophistication it gives me.
What do you do when you have an assassin after you?

Well live my life, of course. Were everything to come to a screeching halt every time someone took to the notion to try to kill me, I’d never get anything done at all! I do make an exception for that malodorous fellow though. It seems such a strange profession to take up when you give away your position with your stench at 50 paces, but no matter. He I usually cleverly lure down to the docks and then give him an impromptu bath in the Stolen River. The Drownies glare at me for a solid week afterward, but everyone landward is ever so grateful.
Given my profession, I quite often get the chance to get up close and personal with the many and varied monster populations of the Neath. Which of the unique beasts chills you to your very marrow? Is there one you have a soft spot for?
Whatever those… things were I fished up last summer. Those gave me the willies, without exception. Still, pretty tasty once you removed the pedipalps and sauteed them in mushroom sauce.
As for my soft spots… those are reserved for the many beasts of Parabola, felines in particular. True, not exactly the most “Neathy” of beasts, but then I suppose there’s a limit to how much I’ll stretch my affections.
Hm, now that we’re closing in on the Feast of Christmas, what delicious dishes have you planned for the menu?

[Felix Merivel] Meat. Lots and lots and lots of roasted meat. With onions and lemons and mushrooms. And my order of Surface spices arrived today. As much as I love zailing, it would be a treat to have a proper meal.
[Merrick Bazzard] Well… I don’t know really. I have been invited to a Christmas dinner. I’m not that familiar with the Neath cuisine yet, so I’m not sure what to expect. I’ll bring some wine though.
Question: Has there ever been a moment when you thought "That’s it, I’m dead and there’s no way I’m coming back"?

Well, I must admit there have been one or two times when I was sliced up rather heavily. But it’s never been anything some stitches and a liberal application of brandy hasn’t cured. And fortunately, I’m a pretty good chess player.
Which Neathy fashion grates the most on your highly refined sense of style?
Not precisely a Neathy fashion, but I find it most irksome that amidst the many choices of shoewear in the Bazaar, there is not a single pair of high-heeled boots! What is a vertically-challenged lady to do? Well, said lady is to have boots custom-made elsewhere at great expense, that’s what.
If you were given the option to head your own department at the University, on which topic would you choose to devote yourself?
