What is something that’s made you happy lately?[/quote]

The legalization of the Neathbow on the Surface!

Er.

Marvellous marches on, too. That also makes me happy.

How do/will you teach your proteges?

I treat my proteges as cherished friends–which I hope they will become. We have weekly discussions of the area of experience as to which they requested tutelege, always followed by a refreshing and delightful dinner at Dante’s.

Which Neathy activity have you found to be the most profitable, and why?

edited by cathyr19355 on 6/28/2015

I’m not sure to be honest. I have always had difficulty making what I consider a decent amount of money in the Neath. The highest I ever got was 1000 Echoes, and at least half of that that went out the window the moment I started losing Rookery Passwords in Old Downy. If one has any ideas on how one can make good money, it would be appreciated.

What is your most treasured quality and why?

Well, a lady does not like to boast, but… well, I am somewhat proud of my eyes. I have been having dreams, you see, of thunder and storms, and my eyes have taken on quite a … stormy quality. It seems to be becoming quite pronounced of late. I have to say, I rather like it.

So… have you heard any interesting gossip lately?

I heard that the Tree of Ages is impressed with your eyes and want to examine them up close!

Which street would you like to own a townhouse on?

I am fine where I am: by the southern bank of stolen river, midway from Wolfstack docks to the Bazaa’s side streets. I also tought of buying the reservation at the Royal Bethlehem, but their manager and maids creep me out somehow (and it is not that easy to frighten me, should you know that).

When will those three poor women from the certain island, which lies not far from London, stop lamenting about the past and bask in self-pity, and finally gain enough courage to struggle for happiness in their lives ?

They will never stop lamenting, their life cannot be free of sadness. Their life is sadness. I have grown to discard my regrets and go on to make more, but some cannot.

If you had the opportunity to save London, to free it from the grasp of the Masters, to return the city to the glory it once had, would you take it?

Save it? SAVE IT? Merely removing it from the Masters’ clasp and transferring it to another overlord would not save it. London requires saving from itself. It is a pitiful place, full of the stench of societal decay and overrun with the bacterium that the above world has spat out like festering wine. Pollutants roam its musty alleys, bringing crime, pestilence and woe upon the unfortunate souls tethered here by some divine justice due to previous incalculable sins.

No sir, I would not save London. London is unsaveable. And that is why I feel so at home here.

My question is this: who is the most intriguing person you have met in this place, and why did they scar your memory so profoundly?

23: This may be rather an… unpopular opinion, given the general attitude toward Law (or shall I say justice) in the Neath, but I must confess a special place in my heart for the Last Constable. She was a dear, world-weary but unbroken, still carrying on the good fight. Perhaps a little too idealistic, but in a place like this that kind of light is all the more worth defending. I do hope to see her again. One day.

Given the opportunity, would you return to the surface? Why or why not?

A short trip would be nice. I do enjoy fresh milk and sun-dried tomatoes. But I really enjoy talking animals and all the mushrooms I can eat, so I won’t be moving back.

What was the most valuable advice you received?

&quotIf you will ever see a Swiss man breaking in to someone’s window - do follow him&quot

When will London’s kiosks start to sell proper contact books, g__ d___t ?! I gerew dangerously tired from operating separate dossiers !

"Buy the latest version of “Slowcake’s Exceptionals.
If your contacts aren’t in there you shouldn’t bother other people for advice.”

Would you like to join me and a few ‘friends’ from the…ahem…‘church’ in a little ‘endeavor’?
We have a ‘Great Work’ that still needs a bit more work and we’d be delighted to have you with us. But make sure noone follows you. Especially not the Masters.

I would have joined, but Fabulous February has just been informed of your traitorous report (signed with your name, no less!) to the Special Constables and is on her way to evenly distributing you all across Fallen London. Do better next time!

As a host, what kind of supper do you treat your guest to?

A thorough one. If you’ve ever been to a Summerset Feast of the World, it’s very much like that, except scaled down for fewer guests and with no prejudice against the Contract-bound.

If you were going to turn every human inhabitant of London into another Neathy species (Clay, Rubbery, devil, tiger, etc.), which one would you pick?

Something like overgoats, but they’d have to stand on two legs! Neither the plotting Masters nor the Liberation of Night will escape their gazes, and lo! London reaches salvation and exaltation as selfish idiots are torn in a Circle of Goat Poop to create the Crown of Feces!

Who is your favorite among the Calendar Council?

None of them. The whole lot are quite, quite mad. I should destroy them all before they become too big for their boots and destroy everyone else.

Is there anyone n the Neath who you feel you can truly trust to not betray you, or that you will not betray back? i find trust is a more valuable comodity then some expect. If there is not, are there any you regret betraying/Wish had not betrayed you?

“My partner. The only one down here who gets me. The only one down here who thirsts, like I have. The only one down here who - …
…my partner. Him and no one else.”

London is a tumultuous and varied places, with just as much it is willing to offer as it is willing to take away.
Out of all of what’s available, what do you do to relax…and why that, more than others?

There are Dazzle, my Bejeweled Cane, Flashy, my Infernal Sharpshooters Rifle, Pokey, my Poison Tippled Umbrella, and Dies Furor, my Iron Republic Journal—though, that is more of a title than a name…

Oh, yes. I named my nodules of amber, too. The Warm ones are the Lumpy Horde, and the Violet… huh, I seem to have forgotten. Odd.

In all our time in Fallen London, we accrue a variety of accoutrements. Of all that you consider yours, what is most precious to you?

Oh, a difficult one. I’m very fond of my Consonant Violin, but then, it is new. I enjoy my little newspaper. I can’t claim it will ever make me as famous as Mr Huffam, but it allows me to get the truth out there. Then again, there’s my Yacht. The amount of unrivaled joy my trips to sea have given me makes me love my Yacht. But I think perhaps my Panther is my dearest… well, &quotpossession&quot is not the right word, as she is a living, thinking being.

If you had a time machine, when would you go?

The Fall, to see it happen. Everyone seems terribly excited about, and it seems exactly like the sort of thing I would have enjoyed, had I been more that a drunken glint in the eye of one of several potential fathers.

Do you like London?
