I don’t think much of cold, wet grounds… not on this side of the mirror, anyhow. The other is much sunnier.
What’s the most interesting little knicknack you’ve picked up in the Forgotten Quarter? Not in terms of echo value, but in what in what you learned from it.
The most interesting knickknack I found was actually one I didn’t pick up. I promised an Elderly Tartar Priest that he could keep a "Judgement Egg" if he helped me locate an ancient temple, devoted to the worship of the wind. He seemed bitterly disappointed by what he found. I didn’t see it clearly, but the container had the look of a soul-jar.
Would you be up for rowing on the River?
(Feel free to interpret this as the Silent River or the Stolen River, whichever takes your fancy.) edited by dragonridingsorceress on 2/14/2015
I’m not really one to hang about rivers, never really learned how to swim so it would be better if I just well… didnt
How has the Feast been treating you?
Rather well I must say. I met a rather interesting Monster Hunting Academic who seems nice enough, though she constantly expects me to be a monster. On our first date she ordered a really expensive and fancy candle along with our meal to make sure I was not a snuffer. Still, it’s fun.
Have you met anyone this Feast? edited by Kylestien on 2/23/2015
I had the absolute pleasure of bumping into someone on the hunt for a long lost love I’ve never been one for happy endings but that did end well and I have another story to tell for it
If you had a long lost love would you have gone looking for them during the Feast? edited by artygirl on 2/23/2015

What do you think would make the most terrifying Jack of Smiles?
Ah. That particular paper has been making the rounds, then.
Jack already features two qualities which frequently stymie the ordinary sort of murderer - he is immortal, and he is faceless. The value of the latter quality is obvious, but the former does have a particular sort of allure to the bloody-minded. Despite all the fervour of a murderous mindset, the goodly folk of the Law make a fine business out of ending most gruesome rampages well before they can truly begin. A man who fires a shot and flees still values his own existence, making his business a paltry affair of ordinary passions, but the spree killer, with no concern for his own continuance, is a true terror, as the full extent of his goals is bent towards harming as many people as possible. Jack is a spree killer taken to the limit of passion. He can die and die again, and as such kill and kill again. We must look to his remaining limiting factors, and the chiefest among them is transportation. Jack can be anyone. Jack can be anywhere. But his reach is limited. Therefore, his most effective form would be that of a spider-council. I have yet seen no evidence that limits him to the humanoid.
Now: the Feast is a thing of passion, but I have seen enough of love. It is a common motivator. Tell me instead who you hate. And should you the time, why. edited by Mnemophage on 3/1/2015
I have been to Zee, but what could be finer than dear London?! Where else is so teeming with dubious diversions, has so many salons of questionable character, contains so much proscribed material to be titillated by, is awash in so many wicked secrets, and is filled with so many delicious friends? Yes, it is London for me.
What is the best name for someone’s pet or companion that you have encountered?
What was the first thing you bought at the Bazaar?
The gentleman give a small giggle, takes of his Mask and answers
This "Mask of the rose" that I got a duplicate of within the hour of purchase, from a deal I couldn’t say no to.
What is the closest you have ever been to having to become a permanent resident in the Tomb Colonies, or in the unlikely event, actually die? edited by Arcalyte on 3/27/2015
I seem to actually be a semi dead and have died many times. Though I’ve been saved by my horse head amulet many a time. The time that I’ve died that was most severe was when I died at zee by a chained shark.
I own a couple of rare items, but not too rare. Prehaps the one I treasure most is the Dreadful Surmise I obtained after a most delightful honey sipping dream with the Captivating Princess. Something about her terrifies me… but also excites. Perhaps I will take her up on that offer…
Speaking of the Captivating Princess, what is your opinion on each of the royal family? I won’t tell, promise.
I have no opinion. (The voice is low and soft, as usual, but this time it sounds almost smug.) I cared only to learn their names, and now, (The voice seems to smile, although the face cannot be seen,) I have.
Ask me not, for I shall not tell.
What was the last thing you recorded in your Journal?

The Princess is a delight to take honey with, and marvelously inventive in… other areas. Her Traitorus Majesty has excellant taste in meats, and the Prince Consort has a delightful accent, all emphasized zeds and a touch of wailing well-song in the undertones.
Rather remind me of my dear cousins in the Americas, actually, although id never mention that to the royals.
