New to the Neath, having arrived on the advice of a more seasoned zee-captain. Having gotten off to a bad start and a completely unjust imprisonment, looking for new friends with whom one might slowly regain her good name.
Looking for chess-mates and/or dinner companions.
I am up for anything that keeps boredom at bay. There is just nothing happening in this town and the food lives up to it’s terrible reputation. Maybe that’s why captains at zee eat their crew. Tastes like chicken, they say.
Dr. Baron Leichtsinn (ESQ., Sir or Madam)
As the gender of a person covered in layers of bandages and masks is only defined at the point where said layers are completely removed, determining the value of either sir or madam as true and the other one as false, much like the vital status of a Parabolean Kitten in a Box is both dead and alive before the moment the box is opened (No, this is a perfectly good example - patent pending) - one revelation better happening not too early during the course of an ongoing acquaintance, often even marking the end of it - I am willingly accepting both ways to adress me: Sir or Madam. Or just call me Leichty, we are pals now.
I’m generally up for anything, but I could use a chess partner right about now.
The Stranger Man, at your service for any chess, coffee, loitering and sparring that you may wish to partake in.
Apparently there’s a wave of new arrivals today. But you all scattered like roaches into dark corners before I could make your acquaintance. Look me up if you’re in the mood for company: especially intellectual pursuits, but anything, really, to light a spark of connection.
James Ramsfield, late of the surface and now presently eking an existence assisting the department of Menace Eradication. However, as a raw recruit to the unterzee, he’d be glad to make the acquaintance of anyone else similarly inclined.
Good evening.
My name is Dr. Faroukh Sekou, and I have recently arrived in Fallen London through means I shall not detail at present, suffice it to say that I don’t believe I have yet been missed.
The rats in my pantry, whatever their virtues, are not exceptional conversationalists, and so I am endeavouring to make more suitable connections with various other denizens of the Neath.
I’m not yet positive how to direct you to my address directly, but ask around the Search Box for "Faroukh Sekou," and you should be given suitable directions by someone more familiar with the alleyways nearby.
I am looking forward to making your acquaintance!

Hello,
My name is Tobold. I played "Echo Bazaar" as browser game in 2011, and now I started over in Fallen London on iOS. I would like to make some contacts for mutual help and benefits.
The lost shadow beneath the dying leaf creeps forth silently in search of kindred minds.[li]
Hi, I’m Sheylara, a brand new soul. Thought I’d write something cryptic and meaningless to try to blend in. Pleased to make any sort of acquaintance. Unless you’re a scary person. Thank you.
(Ch)armed and dangerous, she is a new and humble writer from exciting beginnings. Though she often locks herself up in her room to focus on her manuscript(s), she’d be all too eager to make your acquaintance and swap titillating stories over a drink.

I am in Fallen London as cliftonr, and am currently welcoming invitations for Suspicious Loitering, Games of Chess, Sparring Bouts, and Coffee at Caligula’s. (I may or may not accept requests to help with menaces, depending on how high my own are.)
In Fallen London I am known as Branwyn, addressed as Doctor. Of…? Yes. Of that. That, too.
I have ever so many favors, coffees, dinners, and affections to bestow those who bestow on me the favor of their acquaintance.
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and if you would be so kind as to allow me to introduce myself!
My name is Veggieleezy, and I strive to be one of the greatest jesters and jackanapes this side of the Unterzee! Or something like that. I’m still not quite sure how to roleplay in this world. Only been playing for about two weeks.
Anyway! I’m Veggieleezy, and if anyone needs a hand with a story, or relieving some nightmares, or sharing a game of chess, or whatever, I hope I can help!
I’ve recently returned to the Neath after a lengthy absence of at least 3 years! I’ve made a new character more in line with my current self, and am looking to make contacts in my new adventures. I am particularly interested in the inner machinations and mysteries behind the scenes, the truth behind the curtains, and whilst i’m focusing on my watchful i’m happy to accept many varied requests!
Hi, I’m new to FL and open to all invitations!
Name: Daffneigh
Greetings all! I myself am a new resident of the Neath, one looking for compatriots and acquaintances for many sorts of varied interactions. For simple enjoyment, or for the betterment of us all, I am willing to engage with many sorts. I declare myself the sort for cunning insight and a poet’s mind, preferring the way of words and caution than of aggression and danger. So really, feel free to come to me wherever I currently dwell!
…Okay that was fun. ^_^ Long story short I am quite new to Fallen London and enjoying it greatly, and really do want to interact more with the community here and make any friends of similar interests. The name is Haluesen (without the number) and feel free to be a friend anytime.

I’ve found that a cup of coffee makes for great smiles between us new folks. It’s almost a secret language. Feel free to hang out with me between cases at Caligula’s Coffee House.
Hiram McDaniels would be happy to partake in a few matches of chess. They’re down to 3 Sudden Insights due to the goat card.
