Works much better.

FWIW, we tried to upgrade, but couldn’t - it’s not clear whether Jitbit are still supporting it. We’ll migrate to something else at some point, but that’s a good way off yet.

That would be nice, but I can see how it wouldn’t be high on your list for allocation of resources.
The (C) 2006-2013 statement on the bottom of every page isn’t terribly promising in terms of continued Jitbit support, is it?
Hello! I’ve sent this to the email address, but because I’m not sure if it’s still active I’ll also post this here. Sorry for the duplicates!
A thought and a suggestion: will we ever see the original Mr Sacks again? the one with the unusual deep voice and the gaggles of urchins? Can it be possible for this Master Sacks to be another of the selectable factions during the seasonal content, trying to reassert itself as the One True Sacks? this will allow the content to remain the same while addressing that bit of incongruity with the very early content in a somewhat more fleshed out fashion. Thanks!

How dare you not addressing him with due respect and his true title, THE CRIMSON BEAST OF CHRISTMAS!
INTO THE SACK YOU GOES!
On the other hand, that would mean my precious Knot-Name is no longer rare and my vanity is in danger!
To any of you wonderful devs listening in; I would fully support an android app for Fallen London having a price tag for that convenience.
I’m not certain if that sentiment would be shared by others but I could easily see myself paying 2-15$ depending on how much of the site we would have access to.

I would aswell, but why if the iPhone app is free?
I hope this is the correct forum to post in. Two things:
Searching the forum, I get "The free version returns the first 5 results only"
I purchase Nex, and I bought Sunless Sea. I have to pay to use the forum also?
My search here on ‘Burglars Progress’ brought me nothing, but I want to ask why I needed it to reach 9 instead of 5 this time before I was offered the prize under the Glim heist? In the past I have sometimes found that the prize won’t be offered on the next card, only one or maybe two later, but to have to increase Progress to nine surely means a glitch?
Thanks for any help.

Well, no reply, but I hope it’s brought this matter to the attention of the developers, or someone.
Psst, you did get a reply (including one from the developers) above, at least about your first question.
As for your second one: are you sure Burglar’s Progress had to be increased to 9? Did something in the game tell you that you had to get it up to 9? Or do you mean that you kept increasing progress to 9, and then you drew the reward card for the Glim heist? If the latter is the case, then you may have just been unlucky in drawing cards. After you have 5, about 1 in 3 cards should be the reward card. But 2 in 3 cards will be another heist card. So on average, you’ll get the reward card by the second card you draw, but there’s a ~10% chance that it’ll take you six card-draws to get it, a 1% chance that it could take you 10 or more card-draws to get the reward card, etc.

See the bottom of page 5 - Sara Hysaro answered both your questions and after that you also got feedback from other people including the developers.
When I first heard of this game my first thought was; Ooo a underground Gothic London…vampires! Was admittedly disappointed when there was none but I am enjoying the game never the less. Perhaps in the future we may see them hint hint nudge nudge :D
Well, the Masters clearly aren’t human…
It is really hard to find what you what on the Scrapbook Status and Mantelpiece Item selection screens. Maybe a tickybox next to the relevant status (I realize item is harder, clutter-wise)?
Just a detail, but I recently started the nemesis ambition with a new alt, and I was a bit disappointed by the limited choices concerning who we are avenging. A little change that would already open more possibilities would be to replace “A brother” with “A sibling” and “A daughter” with “A child”. And I would love to have the option “A parent” as well, but I see how respecting everybody’s wishes there would lead to a long list (a friend would be great as well). Of course, I still know that Ally Mooney is trying to avenge her mother’s death after her brother failed and became a neurasthenic assassin in service of my main, regardless of what I clicked.
This would be excellent. If it’s too much, an option to alphabetize the selection screen would go a long way.
[li]Hi, i’m terribly sorry but my feedback is terribly negative :
[li]1. Day 2 the only available missions force me to engage relationship with other players. So, i just started to play and "Start a romance with…" What is this ?! Is this a game or a "Meetic room" for gamers ?
[li]The last time i played a game that forced me each 5 minutes to "artificially or unwillingly" socialize was a Korean MMORPG i just threw by the window after 2 hours.
[li]I’m sorry but i expect far more solo parts and i just hate to be forced to do things in a game, especiially if i can’t do them on my own.
[li]2. Fame = 0. Time won’t change it, no actions can be done to get new ones, so it seems that the only opportuniity is to buy some with my Visa card. Pouah !
[li]= this is 2 days i open the game, Watch if i can do something, say "pfffff", close the game
[li]
Have you tried hitting the travel button? It sounds to me like you haven’t left your lodgings.
There is lots to do without needing to socialize and you definitely don’t need to spend any RL money on the game if you don’t want to. The action pool (candle) is limited but I don’t think this is a bad thing - it makes you think about what you want to do and as you explore the map, raise your stats and open up more areas there is a lot more to do.
It is true that there are very few sources of Fate other than spending RL money (you get a tiny bit as rewards for completing some stories, but very little), but it’s also very possible to thoroughly enjoy the game without ever spending Fate.
