I’m involved in the Soul Trade but I don’t know how to decide Sour Elizabeth’s fate. I know the end result I want, the watch. But I don’t know which option leads there. Could someone please enlighten me?
Thank you! Reteq
Her fate doesn’t matter, you pick a side after that.
I’ve reached the last big decision point in the Jack of Smiles, and I have a couple of questions about the Fate-locked option:
If I take the fate option to have it both ways, will Jack still be "Gone"? I don’t want to go to all that trouble and find out that Jack is still murderizing people back in London. Also, just to be sure, when the option says "this will take you back to London," does that mean immediately? As in, I shouldn’t take that option until I’m completely done in Polythreme?

Just finished The Gift last night, and it was freaking awesome. I have so many questions and theories I want to discuss now, though. Is there anywhere we can actively discuss fate-locked stuff with people who have also played through it? I know we can’t openly talk about it all here, but maybe somewhere else?
I’ve finished the Long-Lost Daughter story-line and I’ve found out that there is an option on the Last Constable Card that involves your daughter but I’ve sided with the Cheery Man, can someone please PM the results of that option? (And possibly the Nadir Card that requires your daughter?)
I’m planning on spending some nex soon and I can’t decide Between the aunt storyline or flute street. Which would be better (I already have the Redolence btw.) ?
Edit: I also heard that there is a way to increase SOTC if you have the Redolence. What option would that be? edited by Genitech on 6/1/2015
Definitely Flute Street. You’ll get a new pet to breed which can turn into a Bifurcated Owl if you’ve bred the other Fate-locked pets. The lore is also pretty nice, especially if you like Rubbery Men.
The Corresponding Ocelot has an option on its card that lets you increase SOTC up to 10.
So I’m thinking about finishing some fate-locked stories I didn’t play before.
I haven’t done The Gift, A Trade in Faces, and The Blemmigan Affair.
In which order would be the best to play them? Are any of those stories linked together? Any that provide high-level permanent rewards/cards which I’d benefit from getting as soon as possible?
I also haven’t done advanced Diplomacy and Velocipede Squad content, but I guess I’ll save it for last as I’ve heard it’s not exactly thrilling.
Thanks! I was mainly wondering if any of those stories are linked together or provide permanent rewards which I’d benefit from getting as soon as possible.
I’ve heard trade in faces and possibly blemmigan affair provide some additional permanent cards/options.

The Blemmigan Affair has three different endings, each of which adds an option to existing (faction) Opportunity Cards.

I’ve gotten a few steps into Secrets of the Foreign Office and noticed today that both of the options available to me right now are unlocked with no Successful Terms as Governor. Does anyone know what will happen if I go to the Coast before proceeding?
