As my lovely rubbery plushies are for now dismissed my vote goes for Dilmun Club badges, caps and maybe a scarf, if possible (I love scarves). The best would be, I think, the Correspondence scarf. Warms a cold wind blowing in your face to a pleasant temperature. Side effects include burnt necks and making everyone around you bleed from their eyes.
Hey, if we’re doing DREAM merchandise … I need a new bag.
Not a tote bag - I discard them in places I hope people will find them and use them, as EVERY book event gives them out. But a nice bag I’d actually use. Like a red leather cross-shoulder satchel, with an image branded (is that the term?) on. A TENTACLE LAMP IMAGE. Or something correspondancey.
(Tentacle lamp.)
Or a cross shoulder canvas thing, with similar image. Something simple and atmospheric, rather than cartoony, so could be worth with being a serious-real adult outfits, as well as everyday I dress like a teenage boy outfits.
Bored at work, put together a mockup of a notebook, but image is suitable for other things: mugs, mousepads, etc.

I do! My work ‘uniform’, such as it is, involves a jacket and a waistcoat - so I like to accessorise where I can with badges or, more accurately, pins. Something unobtrusive, elegant but with a nice ulterior meaning to myself: that’s where my preference lies. Just because I’m forced to dress like an 1860s mill owner in my workplace, it doesn’t mean I can’t quietly and desperately try and affirm my individuality through the iconography of another.
Besides: quiet desperation is as British as pork pie, blast it.
Stationery. Letterhead. Could be sold digitally, and printed at the buyer’s home. The hand-written letter is iconic for Victorian storytelling. A Fallen London return address, that could be crossed out, with my real return address “scrawled” underneath?
If I had a girlfriend who dressed Gothic, I would totally buy a choker for her with a Fallen London icon (maybe a Starveling Cat?). But like MC Frontalot, I can’t even talk with goth girls.
Another vote for subtle and/or meta. It’s much more fun to have somebody’s eyes light up and say "You, too?" than to walk around wearing an obvious label. Has the FB team looked into printing bandanas? I got one as a gift with an engraving of the Crystal Palace, and I’m very fond of it. A Failbetter bandana would be wonderful; people who don’t wear such can easily use them as wall-hangings. I’d also buy a Fallen London choker, if it were suitably subtle.[li]
I vote for subtle as well. Maybe a polo with a Zubmarine?
Prints or paintings (unframed). I would be very very interested.
I’d buy a mousepad or a keychain. For example, the mousepad could look like the opportunity deck.
Not sure if it’s been discounted as an idea, but someone on page 1 mentioned a replica bottled soul - I think those would be great.
Well since my beloved tentacle wrapped lamp doesn’t seem to be a viable option (sobsobsob) I like small pretty things and the occasional Shiny. That may sound vague but that’s usually the kind of thing that catches my eye.
I would also spend an afternoon with the boatman for a gorgeous art nouveau style tarot deck filled with FL artwork, it would certainly make a wonderful addition to my collection (well it will be a collection when I get another one…)
Random (low-res :-( mousepad mockup).[li]
Tentacles, exceptional hat, card deck, and a callout to the name. Would buy?
Any word on when the merch might be available? I need to suggest Christmas present ideas to herself, and it’s between Fallen London and Welcome to Night Vale gear!
I’d like to see Dilmun Club, CVR and Seeking the Name gear, if possible.
Some Dilmun lapel badges would be rather nifty.

Good quality playing cards.
And yes, fully aware not soon. Next Christmas?
Coffee mugs that come with in-game Darkdrop Coffee.
You can get Star Trek tea … http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/f07b/
I wonder if they could team up with some coffee supplier to get branded coffee. Probably not a big enough market to make worthwhile. :-(
(BUT!)
If plushies aren’t on the table in the near future, I’ll share my favorite rat supplier: Rat Search Result | Oriental Trading
Unfortunately, it looks like they only ship to US and Canada unless you call them and presumably pay a massive premium.
Yes! This!
Also, this:
…an old timey travel poster.
Oh my god, babelfishwars, you keep saying what I’m thinking!
Hey, if we’re doing DREAM merchandise … I need a new bag.

My brainstormings:
I know you said it isn’t feasible, but I would LOVE some FL plushies. Rubbery man? Oh yes!
Inspired by the recent Halloween content: Masks of each of the Attributes? (But they’d need to fit over glasses…)
Some of the Menaces and Player Icons could make awesome stickers. Actually, MOST of the art would make awesome stickers.
Subtle references in clothing and accessories would make me VERY happy.
I love the earlier suggestions of making some of the items exist in the real world.
Assorted (scented?) candles would be a nice touch.
So many yesses to jewellery, as long as it was subtle and NICE.
Probably not possible, I know, BUT: Animatronic Giggling Mandrakes. Preferably motion-triggered.
