Many of you will have answered an in-game audience research question last week about whether you’d want to back a Kickstarter for an FL comic. To be clear: A Pinch of Snuff was already finished when we asked that. We’re not that fast-working! We had already planned to put it up as a taster and gauge reaction, to see if it was worth taking further.

So, if you like it, tell the world. Share it, link it, pimp it. The further it gets, the more chance there’ll be more of it.

[&quotbut wait I want more FL game content instead!&quot Relax. There’s a reason my name isn’t on the credits for this comic: I’m currently the FL writing resource, and that’s my focus at the moment. If the comic gets attention, that means more focus on Fallen London and less on client projects… and ultimately more FL content.][li]

Looks exciting so far! Definitely interested to see more. Having a clay man as the protagonist definitely isn’t something I’d have expected.

This looks good, and the Clay Man threw me as well, lowest common denominator being the usual way of things. It reminds me of this Penny Arcade strip. My Dearest Wish - Penny Arcade

“[‘but wait I want more FL game content instead!’ Relax…]”

It makes me sad that this has to be said, but I know people appreciate the explanation. I can also imagine the internal rage that never makes it out in public when someone responds to something like the above caveat with an even more entitled and clueless brain dropping. Hopefully, you don’t get any of those this time.

P.S. Vote (and back!) Graphic Novel. I definitely want more.

[/li][li]Sadly, neither link is working for me right now, but that may be because of a DNS issue with my ISP or something.

There’s a formatting flub in Alexis’s post. Try http://comic.failbettergames.com or http://www.failbettergames.com/?post_type=comic or using the green link from the Fallen London login page.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I have tried both links you reference here and neither works for me. [Nor does the green box link from the FL login page.] The first link you mention goes straight to an error page associated with my ISP, and the second goes to Failbetter’s blog page, which has a comic-specific link that goes…to the error page associated with my ISP. That’s why I think it’s a DNS lookup issue. I will get to see the comic eventually, I am sure.

Bah, well try this, maybe.

If you ignore the surroundings, the prison could pass for a gritty 23rd century black market in space.

Glorious! I eagerly anticipate more.

Thank you so much for your trouble, sir, but these URLs simply give me ordinary &quot404 Not Found&quot errors. :-(

I am sure my ISP will unkink itself soon and I will be able to devour the new comic, but for now I must be content with imagining it.

This is fantastic! I heartily approve and find myself eager for more.

They are endeavoring to steal a constable, quite novel indeed.

This is the best thing since sliced cake. better. alright, maybe not better, but still fantastic!

Oh this is lovely. Fallen London is great, but sometimes the format can make me lose focus and get confused as to what the plot is supposed to be. A more traditional and focused narrative will be excellent, I’m sure.

I too agree with the consensus here that this looks glorious. My compliments to the artist and to the writer. I eagerly look forward to more.

If I am understanding the announcement correctly, pages will be released over the coming days. However, I also wonder if this is going to be an ongoing story, 6 pages a week or so, or if this is simply a one off story of six pages.

This thing is just the dog’s bollocks. I absolutely love it. Maybe, once it’s finished, it might be properly printed!

Hrm. None of the links posted have worked for me.

The next instalment is up, folks! Meet Sophia, see where she and Soap work, and enjoy some pie: http://www.failbettergames.com/?post_type=comic&paged=3.[li]
