I’m just happy that the stories the other two candidates have going on aren’t going to be discarded. Also that things appear to have improved for rubberies at least somewhat, leaving the tentacled entrepeneur’s card looking calm but bittersweet.
Wait, no, I voted for him, nevermind, still salty. WHY A CAT-

As much as I deeply love cats… London, you pack of utter nutters, you voted one for Mayor! Well, I rarely ever go to Parabola, so I suppose a rare Mayoral card in the deck will be the extent of the changes. I wonder if “dodging the draft” will become a new story, haha.
Thanks.

To paraphrase a review about the most recent adaptation: That was the worst thing to happen to cats, since dogs.
Ah, darn, I forgot to spend the Reputation qualities of my characters.
Ooooh, you are right! And not alone! :D
Should the "Learn more about the Candidates" universal storylet still be present a week and three days after the election conclusion? For that matter, when does the term of the new mayor actually start? Still getting Virginia’s card.
Term of the new mayor probably starts when they finish writing/implementing the card… I don’t think there’s anything specific to wait for, but last year it took something like a week or two, maybe?
And this year the devs got hit with a series of issues just as the election closed. They’re probably having to scramble to catch up.
Alternatively, the cat actually stole the election, and is having to adjust the vote counts. Being a cat and being terrible at math, it’s taking her a while.
Or Virginia’s locked herself in the Mayor’s Mansion and is refusing to leave, making for an awkward transition.
It’s been that kind of year.
Well, I’m actually looking for some more favours hell in order to increase my shadowy cap. Because of this, I’m fine with the “old” mayor card for now.
Besides that, they have to make the Mayor Office cat firendly. The remodelling work takes some time. Cats are sometimes picky and a cat that has become mayor for a city like london most certainly is.
Everything should be locked - I’d missed the Candidates card. If you see anything from now please can you send a ticket in? Ugh.
The new mayor card will come soonish. Things, um, happened that threw off my sprint a little!
I mean, uh, she’s giving herself a thorough wash, then she’ll get to mayoral business!

Never mind, you have a year of being able to say, sorry for the content delay, the Mayor was asleep on the keyboard. ;)
