I finally hit the stat requirements and started my alt on the process of becoming PoSI.
…although the cards are not cooperating on the next phase at the moment >.<
I finally have enough resources and echoes that, if I wanted to, I could go and get two overgoats and make an ubergoat. The reasons I don’t do it are because I don’t like consorting with demons, prefer to keep the money to feel rich and I speculate that there will be later opportunities to put that wealth to good use.
Mind you this has less to do with good fortune than mind-numbing repetitiveness.

Caved in on waiting for SMEN to reopen and got myself a Theorem. I’m only a few Enigmas shy of getting a second one, but that would probably be frivolous.
Have just become a POSI, and moved into my rooms at the Brass Embassy later that same day.

ack , i have too much rostygold! it’ll take me about 76 actions to convert them into something profitable instead of just dumping them on the bazaar.
My alt, Mary Laplace, finally completed Unlocking Secrets Covered in Gold. I took a different ending, this time…damn. It went to a seriously dark place. At least now she’s almost eligible for the Passion destiny now…

Well, after an extensive amount of espionage, archaeology, and emancipation, I have obtained a Zubmarine! Tomorrow I plan to set zail!
i am in A PLACE WHERE THERE IS VERY LITTLE SCREAMING. a lot more boring than polythreme for shure!
In ‘A Perfect Vacuum’, Lem reviewed a (fictitious) book, GIGAMESH, which ‘unites in one novel the entire world of man’…
oh cool. a stanislaw lem reference. i wonder if the devs ever read one human minute. i never could find the english version in the libraries!

woo hoo. i’ve reclaimed my soul via the student body in the university! didn’t have much luck fishing with the urchins.
Finally after so long I now have the Stormy-Eyed Quality! That combined with my Peligin Eyes due to consuming the flesh of a Deep Lurker means that I have one freaky set of peepers :)

woot! first time i’ve found a searing enigma on hunter’s keep!
I got an Impossible Theorem! And 51 Primeval Hints, 51 Comprehensive Bribes, 51 Bazaar Permits, 2 Searing Enigmas, 12 Coruscating Souls, Notability 9, and according to this I’m now worth about 75 thousand echoes. It’s been a pretty exciting couple of days.
I got my second character into the cave of the nadir. And drew the end of battles in my opening hand.
…which was offset a bit by everything else I drew being crap.
After putting a great deal of work into my orphanage, I have finally enlisted a Laconic Prodigy as an occasional assistant. It is a good day.

This is a bit late since the event in question happened 9 days ago, but after an amount of time I can’t remember calculating the amount of items I’d need and embarking in numerous expeditions in the Forgotten Quarter, I am proud to say that I own a Zubmarine! And that thanks to that, I got my stone-tentacle key and could finally advance the Heart’s Desire storyline, just in time for the new content that’s coming soon(ish)
my other less famous alt is now a POSI. unfortunately he seems to have the "wrong" alignment(aligned with the lads in blue) for quickly getting the mark of credits needed to visit iron republic, to pursue his damnable nemesis. annoying. more flipping cards! i think it took my main almost a year of half-wittedly flipping cards to get enough marks of credit, with the tomb-colony alignment.

With luck and planning, I have made my way to Polythreme for the first time, successfully pursuing my Heart’s Desire to the current (but not for long) content cap, enlisting the aid of a Moderately Co-operative Clothes Colony, helping an Unfinished Fugitive in exchange for a rather alarming hat, AND, on my way home, capturing my first Plated Seal. Not a bad trip. Not bad at all…
yes! drew all the gold-trimmed cards for making respectable items for my alt. a thief turning respectable just to pluck a moonmiser out of a women’s womb? this is the weirdest and most twisted ambition.
I just got a most unexpected gift from the An Unsigned Message card. a Blemmigan Secretary. It’s a lovely creature :)
my alt is now in the guise of "Mister Crope" (aligned with the great game). took less card flipping than i thought it would. and just remembered i could get a searing enigma from a trade secret,which i usually use to pump my stats.
