Celebrating good fortune.

This just happened:

[quote=streetfelineblue]Very funny new content, but I found myself slightly baffled by the requirements - the fact that a bigger catch cannot entitle to a lesser reward, I mean. What exactly should Running Battle be to get a Compass? I got me that lovely Guinea Pig, but the Compass, albeit slightly worse in stats, would be more in line with my character’s maritime background ^^

EDIT - O lucky day, I had the right catch in my hand! This goes straight to the &quotgood fortune&quot thread ^^

My fortune seems small when compared to others, but on the same day,

1). My St. John’s Lily finally grew enough to start entering contests.
2). I finally gained membership to the Parthenaeum (my first POSI item!)
3). I got my 2nd point of Notability (just before Time, the Healer, arrived to wipe away all those Making Waves)
4). I finally became an Author (also just before Time, the Healer, arrived)

Special thanks to the RNG for letting me draw the Tower of Sparows card and giving me the maximum amount of making waves from Bringing the Celebration home with my last night on the town, and

Special thanks to Sally Scribbles for accepting a Private Supper from me with my last free evening of the week and pushing me over the edge to get that last point of Making Waves.

I just received a cat in a box. Normally I don’t accept them, but for some reason this time I did.
And what was in the box? A MIDNIGHT MATRIARCH! I’m so happy as I would never have been able to buy one!
(EDIT for some weird English)

This is more good news for everyone else, but I can confidently say that the Ubergoat is the highest tier of goat. I currently have two and the Overgoat card in my hand, and there are no new breeding options. A little disappointing as I was hoping for some form of Ur-Goat or Caprine Abomination, but at least I can stop wondering.

To be fair, all that really proves is that you need more than two Ubergoats to make a bigger goat.

After toiling away as a Journalist with endless interviews and smelly back allies to develop the most intriguing articles for Gaslight Gazette I can finally abandon my integrity and pursue delightful fictions as an Author!

Ubergoat + Starveling Cat

And congratulations to Jac from a fellow Author.

At last! At last!

After several failed attempts in the beginning of my quest, I spent more months grinding - first for the wherewithal to upgrade my Overgoat to an Ubergoat, thus boosting my Watchful to +275, then for materials to convert into Uncanny Incunabulum and thus Searing Enigmas - then another failed attempt at the University which sent me tout de suite to play chess with the Boatman, I am finally the owner of an Impossible Theorem!

ha ha ha Ha Ha Ha HA HA HA HA! tooth rattling crash of thunder

Juliet Chauvelin

my alt StandsWithStik has become a POSI! and now he/she needs a ship. probably a swift clipper i s’pose. it is easier to grind for the required items compared to the early days of POSI content. don’t care for the overpriced zubmarine, and the luxury yacht… ouch, that is a luxury.

Upside of Today: I have the fabled Litlle Omen Card! WOOOOO!
Downside: I just realized I need an Ubergoat to reach SoTC 21, so I won’t be able to punch it it until at least March at this rate. So…not Woo yet.

I’m impressed by Juliet’s obtaining an Impossible Theorem. But, friendshipranger, what is the Little Omen card? I am grinding for another goat so I can make an Ubergoat; is that the card you need once you have two Overgoats?

It is a mood card.

I see; it provides that Final Boost to get your Watchful as high as necessary. Thanks.

This was a while ago, so the joy faded, but I GOT A RARE SUCCESS ON PICKPOCKETING THE DRUNKEN RAT!!! 280 ECHOES!!! Then I blew them, plus my savings, on Kingscale Boots, so they’re gone. But still, YAAAAY!!!

I obtained an Impossible Theorem.

I succeeded on my first try on the Become a Glassman challenge with only about 150 persuasive.

Followed shortly by succeeding on “Where did the Rosers go” o_O

Today I obtained my 20th vial of Bazaar’s Tears! I’m not sure where I’m keeping them (hopefully not the pantry; my silly spouse would drink all of them and that is not cheaper than a divorce), but wherever it is must have a rather sad odor.

At last, after a great many weeks of snooping and searching about Wilmont’s end, and the sacrifice of many diamonds, my Zubmarine is at last completed!

mentioned somewhere else already but my main has published a powerfully meritous paper, after a week of cardflipping for interviews. and also the affair of the box, which i chose WRONGLY and spied on mister stones for fires.

and one of my alts has bought his/her first endgame gloves, the awfully sticky-looking lenguals.why are they even shadowy???

and and and… a swifty ship! [quote=]
You stoke the engines and steam out from the docks. Good god, but she’s fast. You leave London in your churning wake. And then you turn around and head back. You’ve salvaged the ship, at least in legal terms. She is yours! Huzzah!
